The later rounds of this fight will be interesting.

    Both are known to fade.

The early rounds will be explosive.

Cotto has a very ****ty jab. Slowly thrown right hand. All he has is a spring-board left hook. Without that punch, Cotto would already be retired.

Hopefully, Canelo will capitalize on Cotto's reset bounce. While he's bouncing to reset, I would be looking to lay him out. Anytime Cotto is in tough against a good fighter with power, he's not the same fighter. Plus Canelo has hand speed, unlike these last 3 bums that he faced. Yes...I'm calling Martinez a bum. He had no business in there. He fought like a bum after telling the whole world that his knees were fine. And it still took Cotto the entire fight to stop him. Martinez was a dead man from round 1.

          Everything is left-hook, left-hook, left-hook.

He'll need more than that come Nov 21.

And looked good against whom??? 3 consecutive deadbeat opponents. LMAO
Say what you will about Cotto's last three opponents, the fact of the matter is that NO ONE expected him to win each fight as easily as he did, even with his supposed "unfair" advantages.

Delvin Rodriguez, though far from elite, had never been dominated quite like that before. Though people had questions about Sergio's knee before that fight, he was still a significant favorite over Cotto...even with an injured knee, no one expected Cotto to dominate from start to finish. As far as Geale goes, I was as disappointed as the next guy when the catchweight was announced. I was expecting the catchweight to catch up to Geale late in the fight, though. I didn't expect Cotto to demolish him so early, and I don't recall seeing anyone who predicted Cotto to finish things in the first third of the fight.

You can criticize the qualify of his last three opponents if you'd like, but you should give Cotto some credit for the ease with which he handled each one.

"Cotto has a very ****ty jab"? Your other points might have some validity, but you might need to rewatch the Mosely fight, or the Mayweather fight and then reassess Cotto's jab.

Dude I'm one of the biggest Cotto supporters here on NSB, but I don't agree with country bashing it's totally unnecessary. You can do as you wish but from one Cotto fan to another my advice is that we stay away from such behavior even if the other side doesn't.

Amen. This is a sport, not a war.

                    - Cotto has a *****y jab?...that's the first time I ever heard anyone say that. Cotto has an excellent jab, and a strong one at that.
