I guess everyone else in boxing must be crazy to acknowledge Cotto's jab as one of the best in the business. It's not even bias praise, his peers have said it time and time again.

Delvin Rodriguez, though far from elite, had never been dominated quite like that before. Though people had questions about Sergio's knee before that fight, he was still a significant favorite over Cotto...even with an injured knee, no one expected Cotto to dominate from start to finish. As far as Geale goes, I was as disappointed as the next guy when the catchweight was announced. I was expecting the catchweight to catch up to Geale late in the fight, though. I didn't expect Cotto to demolish him so early, and I don't recall seeing anyone who predicted Cotto to finish things in the first third of the fight.

You can criticize the qualify of his last three opponents if you'd like, but you should give Cotto some credit for the ease with which he handled each one.
Sorry dude, but Delvin Rodriguez had a long resume of fighting nobodies. Why are you making it sound like he was B or A level? He wasn't...straight garbage fighter.

Who cares about what the odds were in the Martinez fight? Those odds reflected a healthy Martinez. Not one with 2 bum knees in search of a cash-out payday.

Geale is a quitter with a terrible fighting style. Aussies can't fight for the most part anyway. They all suck.

Cotto hasn't got any significant wins on his resume. We all know Martinez' condition. Mosley fight could've gone either way. Judah win...no big deal. Judah is no HOFer. You can take something away from each of those wins.

You can always take something away from anybody's wins. That's what sideline critics who have never competed in the sport tend to do.

Didn't I say that Rodriguez was "far from elite"? How does that make him sound like a B or A lever fighter, as you state.

If you think the odds in the Martinez fight reflected a healthy Martinez, you don't know much about the ******** business either.

Your generalizations about Aussie's are pretty cheap too.

I do applaud you for having 20-20 hindsight, though.

At least the headline didn't say Canelo was in "beast mode"...
That said, I doubt Cotto sees the final bell.

That's not saying much. Many fighters don't see the final bell, but they do hear it.

                Clash of Titans!

Been working out in the hyperbolic time chamber I see. Absolute thriller in the making.. not sure who to root for. All I know is Cotto best bring his A-game and a great pair of dancing shoes. It's going to be on some King Kong vs Godzilla type ishhhh.

1.Well, a C level fighter is supposed to be dominated by a suspect HOFer.

                  2.Martinez was heavily favored dumbass.

3.Mundine, Fletcher, Geale. Need I say more???

LMAO!!! All he has is a left hook. Bottom line. Canelo will show him what a real jab is.

Because his jab is not good. Hard to have a good jab with short arms.
