I'd say they've made as many great fights, if not more, than any other platform this year. Just compare them to HBO or Showtime.

This isn't Showtime or HBO though, and that was the point, to do something different than the subscription networks and expand boxings market. If they are trying to do more of the same, but with time buys, that's a disastrous plan. You have to offer something better, or at least different enough to create something really interesting.

PBC isn't over, not by a long shot, but if it ends as those are predicting, I can't help but think it would have been a huge missed opportunity. I understand not every fight can be made and sometimes it gets complicated, but Haymon certainly has a large enough stable to make good fights consistently. I've thought that their matchmaking has been really bizarre up to this point and I hoped it would gradually get better, and maybe there still is enough time to do that, maybe not.

There was a time where the only source of basic TV boxing we had was FNF on ESPN. Now we have from NBC, Spike TV, Bounce, etc all these basic channels/antenna channels showing boxing frequently. People had no issue with the showcase fights on FNF, and occasional good tests for upcoming fighters, with some upsets. But all of a sudden fights like Thurman-Guerrero, DeGale-Dirrell, Cleverly-Fonfora, Santa Cruz-Mares, Broner-Porter, Dirrell-Jack, etc. on basic/antenna tv is very problematic to them. So okay, let's get these fights off air and go back to just seeing these same caliber fights on HBO/Sho only.

There is no signs of improvement. And PBC doesn't really have much to offer to look forward to.

Its not as if there is any reason for sponsors to suddenly want to spend there money with pbc, or for fans to suddenly give a crap about it.

I think two weeks ago PBC had like 4-5 events in one week. Nobody gave a ****...

What are you saying? You said they need to put on consistently great fights. I said that's not possible. For anyone. Heck, you can't even predict that. You then said they haven't put on any great fights. I said they've put on more than any other platform. Now I'm hearing, yeah but they aren't other networks and it needs to be "different." Whatever that means. It already is different btw but we're just going to keep moving the goalpost, I assume.

They became accountants now. When it was FNF, they were just normal boxing fans. When it's Haymon with his "mismatches", he is ruining boxing.
