But that's not what I asked. I didn't handpick a specific timeframe. I'm using their whole careers. I don't really understand what's so difficult about the question. You don't have to work anything out in such depth.Well, you know exactly what I mean. You have to take into account the time span (Wards last impressive win against an impressive opponent was almost 4 years ago, if you count Dawson, slightly less). His most recent wins have been laborious with regards to Rodriguez and Smith and he once again is scraping the bottom of the barrel. Whereas in recent years (the last 12-18 months), GGG has beaten one former champion and at least 2 former world title challengers who could both be argued as having won the WBA belt.
But hey, I'll leave you to it.
That was just an introduction and some context for the thread. All three are around the same age, around the same weight and ranked highly P4P.
The question is still....who has faced the weakest competition in their careers?Comment

Recently he's done well competition wise.oh hell naw,,,
you cant tell me broner faced the sofest comp so far out of the names listed when he went up against the killer in maidena(with ariza btw),porter, john molina (after he nearly killed matthsseye in a "FOTY"), and taylor is a strong solid comp himself,as well as khabib. none of them were pushovers.

But when he got ranked P4P, all he beat were scrubs. If he beat Maidana, then his ranking would've been justified. But going up from 135 to 147 to barely beat Paulie.. Come on.Comment

Lol @ the poll. Dominance.
This is the problem with Gullible Gennady Groupies. They can never argue against their man and he can do absolutely no wrong. Even worse they can't give any of his potential threats an ounce of credit. Disgusting fanbase.Comment

You're acting like it's off topic for me to address something you're stating in the OP. I brought up Hopkins and RJJ to point out that this statement is intentionally misleading and apologetic for Ward's lack of quality opposition in quite some time.I was under the impression that to be a top P4P fighter, you have to have proved yourself at least once against top level opposition.

Based on your posts in this thread, it is fair to say that what you're saying in the OP is that GGG should not be ranked P4P. It is not off topic for me to respond to the original post of this thread with why I believe your definition of what makes a fighter worthy of being ranked P4P is off. So that being said, I'd say GGG and Kovalev should be in the top 10 P4P based on their resumes (emphasis on recent fight record) and Ward should not be (or should be towards the bottom at best). From what I can tell, only 2 of the 3 fighters listed have done that.
In regards to the poll - I'd say it's Kovalev, GGG then Ward in ascending order of strength of overall resume.Comment
It's funny watching how angry they get from facts about Golovkin.
