Because I think Kovalev's overall resume is overrated.

On a related note, I just opened up Kovalev's BoxRec page and it shows a fight scheduled with Pascal in Montreal on January 30th? Was this announced because this is the first I'm seeing of this?
Uhhh...no they don't because one sided beatdowns and KO losses which Jones and Hopkins have suffered affect your standing. The fact that they're old and their skills have noticeably waned also plays a factor. Am I talking to a monkey here? It's literally the most ******ed retort you can come up with.

Kovalev's resume being "overrated" doesn't make it the worst of the three. What makes Golovkin's resume better?

Best names on Ward's Resume are:
      Kessler (#1 SMW)
      Abraham (#8 SMW)
      Froch (#3 SMW)
Dawson (#1 LHW).. drained 7 lbs, bleh.

      Golovkin has:
      Andy Lee
      Andre Dirrell
      Lucian Bute

      Macklin (#6 MW)
      Lemieux (#4 MW)
      Murray (#9 MW)
      Geale (#2 MW)

And I'm sure you're gonna say that those rankings don't mean crap (even though they're all from Ring mag), but do keep in mind, for comparison purposes, that Abraham (#8 on Ward's resume) is currently being challenged by Murray (#9 on GGG's resume)
      :-)

      TROLL ON!
      LOL.....wut?

I put GGG higher than Kov probably because I think Kovalev's overall resume is overrated.

Kovalev's wins over Hopkins and Pascal beat everything on GGG's resume. Also, the Pascal vs Kovalev rematch was announced a few days ago. Many, including myself, figure it's a cash grab for Kovalev since Pascal doesn't seem to have any chance of beating him.

Nothing wrong with that though, boxing is a business and Kovalev deserves to cash out when the opportunity arises.

So you're prepared to say that these guys have better resumes than Hopkins and RJJ? I don't understand what you're saying.

I agree that their current standing isn't as good - which in fact is exactly my point about why recent history needs more emphasis and why I don't rate Ward with Kovalev and GGG P4P.

Kovalev's resume being "overrated" doesn't make it the worst of the three. What makes Golovkin's resume better?
It does in my opinion. I don't see why beating 93 year old Hopkins and Pascal puts him over GGG.

The names on Golovkins resume are more established veterans, Kovalev outside of Pascal(who kinda sucks) and 50 year old Hopkins contains more untested newbs.

Geale, Murray and even Lemiuex and Rubio is more experienced than most on Kovalev's resume. Close, likely still have Kovalev slightly ahead.
