Andre Ward started his career at 160. He is a 168lb fighter. He's a lot smaller than Kovalev yet is still willing to fight him. That's what real fighters do.

No he is not smaller than kovalev....ward is 6ft 1 and kovalevs is 6ft .....to be honest diggers they pretty well matched.....if you look at ward he is a big dude....bossed froch about and also Kessler .....so he is physically strong as well..not much size ibetween them really ....check the stats diggers

Ward already screwed his previous promoter late Goosen and there is no reason not to repeat it again. Ward will fight 2 nobodies and take at least 2 or 3 mil per fight. And than, he will sue Roc Nation for not getting him good fights, and that way he will avoid KKK. Simple if you look at it.
That is the real reason why Ward is not tuning himself to LHW division.

Unfortunately won't happen as Fonfara is with Haymon...probably would be Gonzalez that lost to Pascal.... There's really nobody on this side at 175 that he could fight. Kovalev is out of opponents as well.

They're called weight divisions not "height divisions". I see Ward is listed at 6'0 on boxrec anyway.

Kovalev comes into the ring weighing damn near 190lbs. He is clearly a lot bigger than Andre Ward.

And also if Ward is such a "big dude", why were Golovkin's people trying to get him down to 164 for a fight? How much of a b1tch move does that look?
