I think it's probably true Canelo's natural size falls in this unfortunately limbo between being a gigantic welterweight and a slightly small middleweight, but his skill still gets him W's against a lot of the top 10 guys in either division.

Also- I don't think GGG is a particularly big middleweight. Him and Canelo look like they're a very similar stature to me.
The reality of the situation is that Canelo is taking on an elite opponent in November. And after, he and his team will probably take on a soft touch and then another in the fall. Could be GGG, could be Joshua Clottey. Either way, they aren't going to do the former prematurely. And no one knows that better than Oscar himself, who didn't take on a big puncher at 147 until two years after he had won a title in that weight class.

Did you see Canelo for his 30-day weigh in? He looked like Richie Cunningham and still had 12.8lbs to lose! You really think he's making 155 "comfortably"? He's not. If he were he would not be rehydrating to over 170lbs overnight.

Ok well let's see if he can make 155. If he does, wins and then calls for a GGG fight at 155 then what can you say? They're the same size after all.

Maybe he can and maybe he cant make 155. One thing i know for sure is that he's not making it "comfortably" like you claim. He's doing so by starving and dehydrating himself. Now ask yourself why would a fighter put himself thru that for a fighter who he's bigger than?

Maybe he's dehydrating himself, maybe he isn't. Either way, why speculate? We'll know on November 22nd. And if he wins, and calls for a GGG fight at 155, what can you say? They're the same size after all

They're actually not. Canelo is bigger than GGG. This is why I dont understand the CW.

Fighters like Floyd and Pac are naturals for their weightclasses. They dont have to lose much to make weight and only put on a few lbs after. GGG is a natural MW and so is Canelo. Canelo just chooses to starve/dehydrate himself and hide out at 155.

As always the 5th year senior is still combing middle schools looking to fight their big kids!!! Ggg has been a middleweight for 33 years. Saul/ cotto for what 1.5 years and never really fought a true MW??? Ggg is already calling out Terrence Crawford....

Didnt Quillen already ask for some ridiculous amount and price himself out before a fight was even being discussed between him and GGG?

Every goddamn middle school has at least one big kid. Every damn high school has a big kid that looks like he belongs in college. Every college has a kid that looks like he can be in the nfl... ALL take time and usually sit on the bench before they get rejoin to the wolves. Ggg fans just can't wait for those two to fight 1-2 good REAL MW. Both are ex-lightweight/ww. Can't say the same thing for ggg. 3 things in life.
                      1. We die
                      2. We pay taxes
                      3. Ggg will NEVER go up in weight
