Ward wanted GGG to sign a contract that would have him doing one tune up each,Nathan face each other in a year.

GGG fights 4 times a year. GGG was not about to be tricked into that, and good for him.

Whatever the numbers, headlining HBO PPV, selling out msg, apple endorsements, having Canelo cowering is much much closer to blowing up than 300k on BET then getting denied a blown up bum for an undercard, dumbfcuk

I've always maintained that being a PPV draw depends on two things :
1) Who u fight . If the people know its a viable matchup with two opponents who r equally good it creates good revenue because people want to see the best vs the best because its too close to speculate .

2) Try to trick people into believing its a viable matchup with two even opponents (like GGG did with Lemeuix but failed) and like Floyd has done in the past sometimes with success (vs Guerrero)

My point is that no one , by themselves is a huge draw / PPV star , rather u have to earn it by fighting the best . It's hard to fake it , although some have succeeded in doing so while most have failed .

Contingent on the winner , GGG or Ward will gain the relevance they rightfully deserve . Ward will re-gain it , or GGG will capture it for the first time , but it can't be hijacked by either using cunning or guile .

U calling me names unfortunately doesn't change the facts . He's still a bust , and still can't generate 2 cents to rub together because people know he's not fighting the best and trying to steady build a monstrous reputation off a pile of cans . Not even an Apple endorsement can wash those sins away . Only challenging yourself and fighting the best can .

I'm not a Canelo fan , but view him as an innocent bystander trapped in the crosshairs of Cotto's nonsense . Canelo wasn't the one who asked to fight a 160 champ at a catch weight , only to win and tell other 160 pounders that they'll have to come down to try and get it back . Who does that ? If u give it time it's like novacane , things will play out how they should . Chavez got exposed like he should , as the sloth he's always been . Ward was disgusted at Bute's antics , waiting aside to cherry pick the winner of the super 6 instead of earning it the hard way like everyone else . Ward gave it time and Bute was exposed as the prop up Ward felt he was . Ward knows GGG is NOT hype (although some things about him r very hyped up) , so he wants the fight . Ward prolly knew Chavez was hype but their r only , literally a hand full of top guys , so it's IMPOSSIBLE , to face a viable threat every time . All we ask is that GGG steps up and fight his first , but that's clearly too much to ask from him or his hedging fans .
