Sure. But that doesn't give you the excuse to not understand verbatim. The dialogues in boxing aren't rocket science. This is why many boxing fans are enjoying the ride of K2 and Sanchez saying they would fight anyone at 154 - 168. Why say such bullshıt if it's not even going to happen. Get the point? At least you agree, publicity stunts are garbage, yes.

Like here, GGG saying he can do 154 and 168 easy. Perhaps he was just talking about diets and nothing about boxing.

I don't see Golovkin leaving HBO just to fight Lara who is known for putting the audience to sleep. Nah. Who are we kidding? Lara is just using Golovkin's name.

Williams and Charlo are easy fights to make for Lara. He's clearly ducking these guys.

Like using Ward's name for 2 years! Especially when he was inactive. Gotta love double standards!

He's one of the most high profile. Golovkin fans do the same with Ward and Mayweather so there's that....

One of Lara's tweets said he'll fight on HBO and in Kazahkstan if that's what it took. Why don't they call his bluff?

I'd guess they wont say anything until Cotto/Canelo winner makes themselves clear. If they decide to pass, then I don't see why they wouldn't take the Lara fight.
Or I could be wrong and they could make this fight for Feb, who knows.

I'd like to see it for sure - Lara's good, better than anyone else who would be available in Feb.

Im in complete shock right now. I have never seen any fans, in any sport not want certain fights in my lifetime. What we have here is something rather unique. gggs fans claim he's the best mw, but give us tons of reasons why fights shouldn't happen.

Seriously, I've read on here that Lara should go after quillin, jacobs, charlos and even j rock before thinking of ggg...

I happen to think if Lara was doing what they're saying, they'd be quick to say Lara wants no part of ggg and instead he's happy with in house pbc fights..

goodness people, why is ggg being so protected all of a sudden?

because a lot of fans that followed Pac or getting into boxing, unknowingly, like to be suckered into the spotlight of mismatches and KO's, so it's only natural. It's just something in the competitive nature of fans. When a fan only saturates themselves into one hero, it becomes dogmatic, like a defense mechanism to assure themselves they are not wasting their time.

I did it growing up watching Jordan in Chicago and the championships. However, the Bulls did play against the best, and watched every game of their 72-10 season. So I know what it means to play the best. =P

And no, Murray actually moved, he was getting cut off alot, like Lara would be, and it'd look a bit like Golovkin-Lara because of that high guard Lara uses when running, difference is Murray was willing to let his hands go, throw combinations, throw body punches, Lara will just potshot unless Golovkin is just sitting infront of him like Angulo, but he wont be, he'll keep him at arms length. Murray is also alot longer and bigger than Lara too.

Honestly don't see the challenge, Lara will show up and all he'll do is run and try to survive, he won't do anything to Golovkin besides maybe a good left here and there early when he still has his confidence in him, and Golovkin will eat it up and likely not lose a round.

Golovkins toughest challenge would be Cotto IMO, too bad he's so small, likely gets ***ed over by the jab.
Lara vs Angulo showed when you cut of the ring on Lara and hurt him, which forces Lara to be more active.

Think you're misreading. I don't think any GGG fan doesn't want a Lara fight - it's just highly unlikely to happen since Golovkin is aligned with HBO and Lara is a Haymon fighter.

And saying that GGG is being protected is ridiculous. The only two arguments against GGG right now is why he wont fight Ward at 168 or Cotto/Canelo at 155. Doing either would put Golovkin (a MW) at a disadvantage, and that's what his team (and his fans) are protecting him of.

The haters are coming up with any reason to see Golovkin lose (fighting Ward who's much heavier, draining himself to Canelo's CW or even saying that he should have been DQ'd in Lemieux fight). I'd love to see him fight Lara, if Lee/Cotto/Canelo are not available.
