Why dont so many GGG fans want to see this fight?

Lara IMO will still be the best opponent he has ever faced. Is that the reason?

Murray is also alot longer and bigger than Lara.
Murray threw pitty pat combinations when Golovkin seemed to be leaning his head forward. He was no threat in terms of power. Not saying Lara is a power puncher but he's a much sharper counter puncher, is faster, has much better footwork.

It's a far more interesting fight. I'd pick Golovkin to win but it seems his handlers and fans are scared of either a defeat or him looking bad.

They want another punching bag for him to look good against so the hype keeps building.

What was exciting about GGG's last fight or any of his fights for that matter?

His fights are the most boring in the entire sport.

            does it matter?

GGG PPV bomb showed he isnt as big or sought after as most think so why not Lara. Good fighter and name for resume and will be best he has faced to date.

I see no issue here..AT ALL

This may all be true, but Lara is much less equipped to withstand punishment than Murray. Golovkin does not need to land that much on him to break him down. Murray is one tough hombre.

I guess if you type something it makes it true.

The problem with Lara even if he's available is that after some public backlash for lack of a better term regarding the low PPV numbers is K2 will surely want to get good ratings in their next fight. Lara is viewed as kind of the ultimate ratings killer so I just don't think they'll go that direction in fear of bad ratings. If no Canelo/Cotto or Andy Lee I'd like to see it next, I think he'd bring more to the table than GGG's mandatory Johnson would. We just have to see what happens with the upcoming Canelo/Cotto, Lara/Zaveck, Lee/Saunders fights.

Again, that's code for Murray being a punching bag. Which is the style of opponent that Team GGG gravitate towards.

It's no coincidence that they avoid these "boring" styles of fighters

I wouldn't mind seeing the fight in the same way I wouldn't mind seeing Golovkin fight against Tureano Johnson or Andy Lee...All three of those fights are fights where its pretty easy to predict that Golovkin would destroy each of them. But do I crave to see Golovkin fight Lara? No. Of course not. Its Lara..he is boring..has no killer instinct...overrated...and extremely lucky to continue to get main event spots for amounts of money that he in no way earns.

Also, its just for attention that he is calling out Golovkin.
Would Al even allow Lara on HBO?
If HBO allows a Haymon fighter, why the hell would they pick Lara?
Would Lara take around 500k to fight Golovkin instead of the million he has been getting to fight bums? No.

So its just not likely...just another fighter using Golovkin's name because he is the most talked about fighter in boxing.
