it accomplishes getting 2 million dollars in ward's pockets. the same exact thing he's been trying to do the last 4 years. easy fights for big money. the tough fights were all avoided and now we are supposed to believe ward's promise of figthing kovalev? sorry im not that gullible. you can't give this guy any hand outs. make him fight kovalev or he's not on hbo.
Maybe that RocNation deal becomes a "slave contract" all of a sudden lolComment

No Froch actually did enter the ring with Ward and countless other top fighters. Unlike your hero.
If you're referring to Froch-Golovkin, it's cute you count imaginary wins but I don't think a guy who sold over 900k buys for his last PPV is going to want to get out of bed for a guy who could barely sell over 90k.Comment

Australian super middleweight contender Rohan Murdock (18-1) has missed out on a lucrative opportunity. The boxer was being lined up to face Andre Ward as part of the Miguel Cotto-Saul Alvarez HBO Pay-Per-View on November 21 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.
The boxer's team, CDL Boxing, have informed local reporters that the Nevada State Athletic Commission refused to sanction the fight, according to the Western Australian.

Ward should fight a top SMW or a 15-20 ranked LHW.Comment

Barcham said that the only rankings that matter are the belt rankings. Murdock was #6 on WBO. SMFH, this guy deserves justice. He is the WBO's #6 best fighter and he's a mismatch for Andre Ward. Imagine if GGG vs Adama, Monroe Jr, Ishida happened in Las Vegas, would the NSAC have rejected them as mismatches as well?
And Golovkin is more abrasive than Ward.
Consistency is all we can ask.
Its good they rejected Murdock.Comment

They are called tuneups. If Floyd Mayweather would have fought Brandon Rios and Chris Algieri back to back he would have been excoriated mercilessly by the media and boxing fans alike and rightfully so because they are mismatches but when a Non-American fighter does it, it's just fine. All I am saying is that Non-American fighters get free passes while the Americans fighters have to compete under a dual standard which is not fair.Comment
