So you've graduated from saying that Little G is "too small" and is the a-side to saying that Ward doesn't want the fight?

    Keep the excuses coming.

      What excuses?

What actions by Ward have indicated he's genuine about wanting the fight?

They offered him the fight and Team GGG said "maybe sometime in 2017"

Even if you believe it was a fake offer, it's irrelevant. You still came out with some excuse for GGG turning it down when you thought it was real. You say he's too small and that Ward should come down in weight etc etc.

You're ****ting yourself over that fight getting made. Don't worry, it looks like Little G is safe and that Big Bro Kovalev will protect him.

I don't know about you people but I could spot what is viable or fraudulent, whatever you term it, from a distance. Eddie Hearns, for example, fraudulently negotiated the Donaire and Rios fights for his boys Quigg and Brook. Both Rios and Donaire called his bluff. Look who his boys are fighting.

I predict GGG vs Cotto/Canelo won't happen anytime soon. Neither Kovalev vs Ward because Ward won't allow it to happen.

The Ward vs GGG negotiation has more chances of getting started because of public pressure.

He's working out a deal with HBO to fight Kovalev like someone already said, that's not just words is it?

It sounds to me that HBO is protecting GGG. If they really wanted Gennady to fight Andre Ward then all they have to do is make that fight happen. It isn't hard. They are trying to preserve their potential future superstar by keeping him undefeated by steering him clear as far away from SOG as possible. Now HBO is pushing a potential Kovalev/Ward match up instead because they don't want to see their cash cow lose anytime soon.

Why embarrass yourself and make up lies for a guy you've never met, whose life you will never affect? If you like him, just be proud of that and don't try to craft him into some invincible being. He didn't want Ward, it's obvious to anyone willing to look at it with open eyes. And, it's ok to come to terms with that.

Last I remember was his team making an offer with GGG in the midst of preparations for his Lemieux fight, seems more like he wants to give people the impression he wants GGG and GGG is ducking but it's just smoke and mirrors imo.

Ward don't want none of GGG, he's fighting these plumbers like a fat (no offence) Paul Smith at 171, he tried to fight some Salsa type opponent who was barely in the top 30 at 168. Ward is just throwing GGG's name out there to draw attention to himself and give the impression that he's still a force being ducked.

If Ward was or real he wouldn't be fighting these tin cans, he didn't look too good against Smith who not only is no good but was in horrible condition for that fight and didn't even look like he trained.

I think Ward has declined and is blowing up smoke about wanting to face these top guys whilst feasting off bums.

to bad the deal would not have affected the deal at all both would of gotten a fight or 2 before the fight so the lemieux fight would not of been affected. i dont understand why u guys dont want to see ggg vs ward what the hell are u so scared of? of course ward would fight ggg
