I'm the "racist".. yet you're the guy who grew up rooting for the non-White fighter without even knowing anything about the fighters lol...

I'm a huge racist... but Ali's biography was the first book I ever read cover to cover..and Ali was the first fighter I ever had admiration for...

    Shiiiiit...

But I'm sure you're the same FIomo who ignored Floyd's constant disrespect to Ali...

It does take years, but Gennady doesn't have years, he's 33, and while most of us want him to move up in weight, I just don't see that happening, he's not the type of guy to move up weight classes and gain championship status in those higher classes, he's not a Floyd or Manny or Oscar or anyone else like that.

He also doesn't have a villain, Manny had Floyd and vice versa, Floyd's attitude, persona and personality as well as Manny's sold well to the American public, there isn't anything HBO can do in my opinion to do the same with Golovkin. It'd be different if he acted like Tyson and was knocking people out, more heads would tune in to a loud mouth trash talking Kazak who was kayoing people left and right.

I don't mind him, not a huge fan, but he does impress me by fighting as often as he does, and if he never turns out to be a PPV star, cool, not everyone is or can be. He'll still bring exciting fights

Here's what I posted yesterday , as I'm only interested in the best fights .

I don't mind GGG vs Canelo , but will he fight him ? Truthfully I just wish that all remaining belt holders at 160 just vacate , let GGG accomplish his ephemeral goal and go about his merry way . He's already too strong and too good for 160 , so I definitely don't care to see him mixing it up with those who fight at 154 . He should be at 168 so he can be at least challenged .

If he doesn't Want the top dog (Ward) at 168 right away , cool , but chasing ephemeral victories in the 160 division is what's gonna cause him to start churning people's stomach. Knocking out can after can is fun at first because your fairly new and its exciting . But it's time to move up and challenge yourself as you've been bullying those guys in that division for 4 years or more . We get it , they can't *** with u , now move the *** on please , nothing to see here .

Same advice goes for Ward , as I have NO interest in protecting him from danger , but would like to see him fight GGG first before moving up to Kov

Difference between Triple G and Ali for that matter and Floyd is simple... Floyd stopped fighting the biggest threat in the moment after Castillo... he beat Corrales when people wanted the fight..amazing performance, one of hte most impressive ever.. he lost to Castillo and edged the rematch.. but after that Floyd has never fought the biggest threat to him at the time..

Triple G is willing to fight anyone at 160... Should he move up and fight Ward...yes..eventually Triple G after cleaning out 160 should move up and fight the winner of Ward-Kova..

Ali fought everyone in their prime..

If you go by PPVs..that means nothing..Oscar was a top-selling PPV star not because he was the greatest... he was marketable...

Floyd is marketable... nice smile and good looking guy (pause) and great personality but played the villain very well... knew how to market himself and promote fights..he made people care about his fights..whether to see him lose or win..he made his fights feel important to people...

Triple G will never be able to do it that way... Triple G has to just go the Mike Tyson route and try to dominate his fights so badly that people just watch him for that..

It's funny because most Eastern Russian's are considered Asian, they consider themselves Asian and Polish folk consider Eastern Russian's Asian. Mongol, Japanese, Chinese, Korean blood are all found in Eastern Russian's.

GGG doesn't even look 100% white, you can easily look at his face and his eyes and tell he's mixed with some type of Asian. I try telling people all the time because I'm Korean but they don't believe until they look it up.

Sorry guys but Asians claim GGG, the white's can't have him lol. If you'd like we can have a Race Draft just like on the Chapelle Show. Just tell me a good trade and we will consider it.

so reading an Ali biography as a child is proof you are not a racist as an adult. If that's the case, every body you called an anti white racist on this board has read books by white authors or about white people.

SO we are not racists just like you, right?

Willing to bet a lot of people just streamed it but still watched.

I think it's a little early to be too critical, Mayweather's people are right. It just takes time, planning, and great match making.

Lemieux was a good fight to make because of the unification aspects of it as well as Lemieux's power being something to hype up.

GGG and Canelo as a PPV could probably come close to 1mm buys I think.

LOL the guy wrote the book was probably White...It was a biography and not auto-bio..

Would a racist be a fan of Ali? Who was a very outspoken fighter? You focused on the authors... the point was I was a fan of Ali... pretty sure the first rule of being a racist is not having admiration for a Black person.. especially an outspoken one like Ali...

And the fighter I respect most now..is Pacquiao.. is he White?

You accused me of being a racist..while ironically being obsessed with race but justifying it because of historical injustices...

Have justified criticism of Triple G not just race-based BS...

Yep, he's completely Asian. Even being as a guy from Kazakhstan makes him Asian, due to it being in central Asia. Then isn't his mother Korean and father Russian?

He's basically 100% Asian and pretty much looks it to me. Asian is probably the most diverse ethnicity in terms of looks, one country differs from the next. He's just another form of Asian that many are not familiar with. Though to the untrained eye i could see why people might think he's a white European, even if he has no affiliation with Europe at all.
