Mayweather is retired and GGG has fought more bums than Ward and Mayweather combined. Floyds resume at and 33 and GGGs resume at 33 isn't comparable. Quit trying to.fight a 38 year old 2 decisions below. It's ok though, the people.have looked at his resume and spoken. 97,000 PPVs.

Why would people be pushing for like the 6th biggest PPV for Triple G?

Ward should be focused on Kovalev instead of running to BET because he's too scared to commit to the fight and his last fight was at 172 lol..

Ward had 1 fight at 172, that doesn't make him a LHW. That's like saying Manny is a JMW because he fought @ 151.

The point is to get GGG a quality opponent since his resume lacks one.

GGG isn't getting any of those other fights so it appears the Ward fight is the biggest he can get right now, unless he wants to go to 155.

Apologies, I should have stated i'd personally rather see that fight as a boxing fan.

Sadly for me and you, the guys who make the decisions are strictly business and that fight isn't really a mouth-watering prospect in the business sense, compared to GGG v Cotto/Canelo, even though i think he might steamroll both of those fighters.

I was talking from the perspective of the guys who make the fights. GGG v Ward has no real appeal outside of dedicated boxing. I'd pay to watch it in a heartbeat, as would you and many others on this forum. But that's it, the real money comes when the casuals are putting their hands in their pockets too, the business guys behind it making the fights know this.

I can respect that but the powers that be for GGG need to think, what if Canelo-Cotto is a damn good.fight.and they rematch, Ward-Kovalev is looking possible. That would leave GGG I'm the cold. Take.the Ward fight and let Kovalev-Duva , Stephenson- Haymon work something out for a fight.and quit BSing.
