He's definitely lost his desire to fight. That was the crux of his decisions to sue Goossen. He wanted the big Chavez payday and to walk. He talked a couple of times during that time about how he's been boxing for 20 years and was thinking of retiring.

Maybe he's rediscovered since those comments, but his opposition choice doesn't suggest so.

... And when did I first said here that Ward lost desire for boxing?
... like 2 years ago, right... Ward said it himself in 2014...

If we're giving Ward time to get ready for Kovalev (despite saying he's fight as high as HW), why is GGG always criticized for not taking a 168 fight against the best fighter right away?

Same commission who let Floyd duck Khan and fight D-level Berto but they don't let Ward fight a guy same level as Berto??

              The sheer hypocrisy!

It's pretty obvious all this drama with GGG was just posturing. He would have wanted at least 2 tune ups before getting in the ring with him.

Props to the Nevada Commission for making the right decision! No need for Ward to take advantage of an inexperienced kid & humiliate him in front of the world.

Question: Why is Ward is trying to get used to 175 by fighting SMW's at 175? Why not fight a real 175 pounder like Yunieski Gonzalez or Vyacheslav Shabranskyy?
                    LMAO..............

That's kind of embarrassing for Ward. Good call though.
No disrespect to Murdock but it was a ridiculous fight. Murdock is levels below Paul Smith.

I wonder exactly where Ward's thinking is right now. Dunn? Murdock?
There is plenty of gimme' tune ups out there, ones that aren't as bad as this one, and ones with actual LHW's, not guys from the division below.

Fights like Murdock, Salka and Zerafa are potentially dangerous.
