Who knows? we don't even know who the guy is so how do we know he hasn't attacked anybody before or after? maybe he has.

We will never know. All i'm saying is that myself, like many others have been in places like Tenerife where they have ended up in situations like at a house of a stranger especially with drink or drugs involved, without a sexual motivation.

From my own history and many others i know, this story seems more drug related than one of Brook being gay just because he was with a guy. I don't know for sure but if i had to guess, then that's what i first thought when i heard the story and still think now.

What sparked the attack is another thing, there could be a million and one different reasons.

Anyway, all of us might be completely wrong.

As I remember reading, if not known to Brook he was known by some of Brook's party. A million and one reasons? A few reasons I would say. Anyway, time to get back to boxing for now although I guarantee this will come up again in the press some time in the future. In fact I'm surprised that some tabloid hasn't found somebody who was out there at the time and offered them good money to dish the dirt.

The problem with an unpoliced website - as this clearly is - is that people can make all sort of uninformed, slanderous allegations and think they can get away with it. It is only a matter of time before a lawyer starts showing interest in the publishers or individual posters concerned. How is it ever fair to make vile accusations, in public, without any proof?

As I remember reading he was with a group of friends and he went back alone to the guy's apartment. If this guy was a "nut job" wouldn't he either have attacked somebody before or afterwards. It seems not or we would have heard about it unless machete attacks are so common in Tenerife that they are just ignored. So the question is what might have prompted him to go "nuts" in Brook's presence? He just flew off the handle for no reason? So they had an argument? About the price of coke or similar? Unlikely, Brook has money? So then you begin to wonder what else it is exactly that they could have had such a violent argument about that the assailant saw fit to suddenly grab a machete close by and attack Brook.

Coke can make you arrogant, egotistical, argumentative, hyped up, aggressive.

Boxers are always getting people trying to have a pop at them when they're on nights out.

Either that or Brook is a **** stabber. Those are the only two options really but neither are out of the question.

Brook vs Chaves was never a standalone PPV. I'll keep repeating it until you understand.
