The problem with an unpoliced website - as this clearly is - is that people can make all sort of uninformed, slanderous allegations and think they can get away with it. It is only a matter of time before a lawyer starts showing interest in the publishers or individual posters concerned. How is it ever fair to make vile accusations, in public, without any proof?

To be fair, the attack happened in Tenerife. Anybody who's British and has been there for partying knows it's very plausible that you could go out drinking and taking whatever drugs and end up at random peoples apartments or houses and carry on the party.

Why he ended up alone with the guy is another thing. I'm sure that the story says other people were there too but left, which i can understand. I've been in the situations where i'm drinking or doing coke and you just want to keep going even when others are leaving.

The gay thing is simply because he was alone with a guy but i'd say it's a lot more likely that coke is the reason the story remains a mystery. Tenerife is FULL of coked up British people on holiday and it's very likely you're going to end up in situations with strangers when you're partaking in the lifestyle there, he just ended up with alone with a nut job with a sword.

Yeah right. Personally I'd be having the line before the big night out to get a bigger buzz.

I would not be having a line in some guy's apartment at 2am in the morning. Now if I was in some woman's apartment at 2am and doing a line I'd be pretty sure I was about to get laid if it hadn't just happened already.

What you said is mildly plausible. There are other more plausible scenarios.

Back to boxing. How does Brook plan to sell this thing for more money on a PPV event that will have more people to pay for more undercard fights? Brook has to step up or stay on the undercard. Fury told it when they asked him to take second billing.

As I remember reading he was with a group of friends and he went back alone to the guy's apartment. If this guy was a "nut job" wouldn't he either have attacked somebody before or afterwards. It seems not or we would have heard about it unless machete attacks are so common in Tenerife that they are just ignored. So the question is what might have prompted him to go "nuts" in Brook's presence? He just flew off the handle for no reason? So they had an argument? About the price of coke or similar? Unlikely, Brook has money? So then you begin to wonder what else it is exactly that they could have had such a violent argument about that the assailant saw fit to suddenly grab a machete close by and attack Brook.

Mate, if you think these are vile allegations then you should have seen what came out just after the event - plastered all over the web, never mind just this website. I'm saying there is something very su****ious in the circumstances. I don't think there is anything vile about doing coke or being gay but their is def. something very murky about nearly having your leg hacked off and then covering up the lead-up events.

Lawyers? You think so? If they didn't want to press charges after a near amputation and it being all over the British press front pages plus tv then I am 100% sure they are not concerned about what is written on this site.

Who knows? we don't even know who the guy is so how do we know he hasn't attacked anybody before or after? maybe he has.

We will never know. All i'm saying is that myself, like many others have been in places like Tenerife where they have ended up in situations like at a house of a stranger especially with drink or drugs involved, without a sexual motivation.

From my own history and many others i know, this story seems more drug related than one of Brook being gay just because he was with a guy. I don't know for sure but if i had to guess, then that's what i first thought when i heard the story and still think now.

What sparked the attack is another thing, there could be a million and one different reasons.

If GGG has issues with PPV against an IBF champion then how much more so Brook vs Chaves which, despite Hearn doing his utmost to big it up, is seen as a very probable Brook win by boxing fans against a little known opinion with not such an attractive style.

As Triple G needs Canelo, Cotto, Ward or Froch to really gain traction as a ppv star so Brook needs to get it on with Khan, Pacquaio or possibly Bradley to gain the same traction

Pretty common place in after a big night out to do a line to keep yourself awake and keep a night out going. I'm pretty sure drugs are a big reason why it hasn't gone any further.

If you are talking about the gay rumours, then maybe but who really cares? It's 2015. Brook can **** whoever he wants as long as he actually fights someone.
