Yeah right. Personally I'd be having the line before the big night out to get a bigger buzz.

I would not be having a line in some guy's apartment at 2am in the morning. Now if I was in some woman's apartment at 2am and doing a line I'd be pretty sure I was about to get laid if it hadn't just happened already.

What you said is mildly plausible. There are other more plausible scenarios.

Huh? So a top athlete, a world Champion, may be partying hard on coke, he may well be gay or bi (no controversy in being gay in 2015 - if you are out of the closet) and he nearly loses his leg in a wild machete attack AND the perpetrator was never caught nor charges pressed.

I think the attacker was aiming for another appendage but it was a smaller target. I wonder if Brook would have pressed charges then.

Well you got that right. Obviously Brook is hiding something.

But don't be telling us this is normal.

If ever additional information comes to light it will be all over the front pages again and the higher Brook rises in boxing the more likely it is that journalists will dig deeper. Most likely occurrence is that some anonymous source feeds info to the tabloids.

He's just won a world championship and was celebrating. He was clearly just after a line of coke after a big night out, we've all done it, he just happened to try and get some of a nutter who had a machete.
