Well, I guess that's the luxury of coming from old real estate money like you do.

The rest of us gotta work.

$75 for 1 night is crazy. I pay R$75/mo to watch every game from Brazilian soccer league and others plus. Still think it's too expensive.

If they try to make Ward/Kovalev a PPV fight I'm going to go ape ****. These boxers who can't draw flies need to stay in their lane because they are not PPV attractions. Hopefully these PPV fights will slowly go away.
How is the Cotto-Canelo card not worth the money?

I agree. Pay per view is the thing of the past.

              Commercials?

They'd only have time to air one commercial (probably a maximum of 50 seconds dedicated to commericlas) after each round. Or, the vast majority of commercials before and after the fight (which will not see peak viewer numbers).

              Sponsors?

They could require fighters to have sponsorship logos around their belt and trunks. Maybe even gloves. The only problem is, companies who produce the equipment would have to be okay with it. Conflict of suppliers is an issue, although I'd imagine for big fights it wouldn't be too difficult to curve this when everyone wants to sponsor you.

              Message from Sponsors?

They could also do this, between rounds. "This fight has been brought to you by Coca Cola", something like that.

                    It's a joke.
Miura vs Vargas will be the best fight on that card.

I was hoping GGG/Lemuiex and Cotto/Canelo both exceeded expectations to set up a Canelo/GGG massive event on Cinco De Mayo 2016.

That said, I do agree that PPV is an outdated model. NBC, WCB and Showtime Championship Boxing should have the major fights and BAD and the smaller PBC and SPike cards should have the kind of fights we get on main cards.
