The problem with the catchweight is that Canelo has his excuse should be lose. The casual fans jump on that. He knew well before he agreed to the fight and past fights that he should have moved up to 160. He obviously wants the biggest fight so he took it. However, if Cotto wins and Canelo has stamina issues anyway, then he will just say that he was weight drained. I do not think Cotto will get full credit. Cotto loses then he is over the hill.Comment

That's fine GGG will take the belt and Cotto can hang his cowardly head in front of his PR fans and they can have a big shameful cry together. On second thought he probably won't have a belt to give up as Canelo will smoke him next month, so it really will be academic.Comment

For GGG to accomplish everything that Cotto did he would have to go down to 154 win a title, go up to 168 and win a title, and then go up to 175 and win a title. I highly doubt GGG moves past 168. He doesn't want to leave 160 and his promoters are going to hold him there.
Not only that Cotto fought the best at 140 when he defended his titles there. He fought the best at 147, and 154. GGG has yet to do that. His biggest fight to date was against a slugger, that came in with the wrong game plan.
So Cotto calls the shots because of what he has done, not because he is scared. In order for GGG to accomplish half of what Cotto has done he needs to be willing to wiggle around weight classes and not stay hard headed about staying at 160.Comment

Yeah, you know **** about boxing Cotto started at junior welterweight. He has won titles in 4 weight Classes. GGG has stayed stagnit at 160 and does not look to want to move up.
