Laborious? What? Luis moves damn well for a big man. He pulled off that Ali impersonation in the fifth round pretty well, danced the entire round.

Exactly. That guy's neck and traps are Tysonesque.
He moved... for one round. The majority of his work comes from picking his spots, at close range, in a slow manner. That has disaster written all over it in the HW division. For now it's good that he's able to over power opponents, but everyone isn't going to fall so easily. Jennings is a good win, but the jury is still out. I think it's fair to say he might be more Sam Peter than Mike Tyson/Ali. Which isn't bad, Peter was alright, for a couple years...

Like you, all of Ortiz's previous opponents were probably deceived by his quickness.
Ortiz's isnt Ali-fast but to be able to go punch for punch against a more athletic and supposedly quicker Jennings means he isn't slow as you think he is.

And Sam Peter??? This guy is just slaps you with brute force. Ortiz has technique.

You know what is more impressive is that Ortiz did not stopped punching even if Jennings was smothering him. Actually, I was impressed by the punch output of both fighters.

Ortiz just stamped his name as a true contender.

Yeah he has flaws. But so do all other heavyweights.

I picked Jennings, Jennings had moments, but Ortiz laid down the law.

Not sure where you get the idea that Ortiz has a shaky chin from. The man's built like an Uruk Hai. He can clearly take a punch.
Sounds like a hell of a fight to me, honestly. Povetkin-Ortiz. It's a toss up I think.

Povetkin is rarely if ever in a dull fight, and the longer he can stay with Ortiz the more exciting it'll be. I'm not sure I share your views on its competitiveness, though. It won't be a blow out, but I do suspect we might see quite a one-sided beating after the first couple of rounds. Takam was able to trouble Povetkin quite a bit, and there were numerous opportunities where Povetkin left himself wide open for a counter trying to work his way inside. Ortiz won't miss those opportunities.

There'll be some incredible bombs thrown, regardless.

Ortiz has a slow, deliberate workrate, but has a good ability to get his punch off. Jennings isn't especially athletic, that's just American brainwashed speak. He moves like the squared up, clunky Rahman, just more often.

Yeah, Sam Peter. Or do you really think he has more in common with Tyson/Ali? Come on now..

                Fury moves more than Ortiz...

Wilder beats Ortiz, as does Fury. But not bad match ups. You never know in boxing.

                  Fury beats Wilder.

                  Fury is the true champ.

Sorry for the cliche, but like they say, in boxing styles make fights.

This looks like a great stylistic match up.

Given the two guy's styles, I'd expect a tremendous brawl.

Ortiz can box in rds 4-6 he moved beautifully on his toes out boxing Jennings.

Now guys like fury look odd they can't throw a proper punch if there life depended on it.

Ortiz is a boxer first i believe who happens to have crazy ko power.
