Whoever was in charge of the music between rounds was on point.

Ortiz/Jennings was an excellent fight. I thought both made a very good account of themselves, and of course the stoppage was very impressive for Ortiz. He has some serious skill like you don't typically see in heavyweights anymore.

      **** I forgot Povetkin LOL

Povetkin is the only boxer right now I would definitely pick over ORtiz..

Wlad and Haye are too questionable now..

But Povetkin is impossible to bet against right now.

As for Fury? He couldn't beat Ortiz imo.. He got lucky 3 times in his life.. Lucky 2ce being injured with Haye and then lucky to catch Wlad so far on the slide like he did.

Vs Ortiz he would be up against it.

Wilder is not even world class, he is regional yankee class.

Ortiz would obliterate Povetkin. His come forward , weak defence style is made to order for Ortiz. He's open right up the middle. Target practice for Ortiz best punch.

Ortiz probably has a shaky chin. Wouldn't be surprised at all to see Povetkin KO Luis with a hook that he can't move out of the way from since he's so laborious. I like how Povetkin has turned into some kind of a bum all of a sudden.

You're always going to get guys high on a fighter after an impressive win, but really Ortiz is all shades of wrong for Povetkin. Povetkin would have to fight his way inside to land his shots and that leaves him open for the counter all night long. At his height that spells major trouble.

Not sure where you get the idea that Ortiz has a shaky chin from. The man's built like an Uruk Hai. He can clearly take a punch.

Lampley keeps totally disrepecting Hopkins ...It's Lampley's job to hype up the HBO backed fighter, one of whom is Kovalev. When Hopkins does commentary, Lampley will praise Kovalev for "dominating" Hopkins, while Bernard is standing right there with this blank look on his face ! Last night, Lampley called Kovalev Hopkins' conquerer, with Bernard standing right there, LOL!

A HOFer is standing next to you, and you go, by the way, this guy wipped your ash! Hopkins could at any time say, well he didn't knock me out and it went 12, but he just stands there. But you can see it in his eyes that he can't believe what Lamp just said !

Huh? Shaky chin? Where did you get that idea? I'm not aware of anything like that in his past, but Ortiz took a couple of decent shots from Jennings and didn't flinch.

Laborious? What? Luis moves damn well for a big man. He pulled off that Ali impersonation in the fifth round pretty well, danced the entire round.

Exactly. That guy's neck and traps are Tysonesque.
