I think Canelo is claiming he'll knock Cotto out.

Wow! You guys are impressive. Balls to the walks! Much respect!

So you think Canelo skunks him, but then takes the rematch anyways?

My guess, the 10-15 pounds he'll have on Cotto.

I would be shocked if he does, but it wouldn't surprise me if Cotto got the win.

Can you point me to a link that shows how GGG rehydrates. Also, to one that tells how much Canelo rehydrates.

I don't think Canelo has the chin to take that much punishment over the majority of the fight, and not enough stamina to ware down Cotto in the second half of the fight. Canelo will have to manage the ring and distance more then apply pressure, which means he will need to cut the ring off and force Cotto to engage and trade shots, where Canelo can then counter. If he follows Cotto which is what Margaritto did, he will lose this fight convincingly, because Canelo has to set to land his punches, doubly so for his power, and he will find it hard to catch up to Cotto, and land solid punches while moving forward, especially if Cotto is landing his jab. Canelo also has to find chances to lean on Cotto when ever they are close, it will help to tire Cotto and put pressure on his legs, which will later slow his movement.
Me neither... And I don't expect Canelo to go "all in" from the start, hoping to take out Cotto early. But, hell, what do I know?

Right on point!! Canelo doesn't have maragritos stamina, that stamina is legendary! Cotto will pick him apart, if this is Canelo's game plan Roach is hitting flips!

Well, I can see why he thinks this is what he needs to do. If you, let Cotto get into rhythm he's very hard to beat. Now, the way I see this fight is Canelo early, Cotto late. If he can punish Cotto early in the fight he'll have a chance but as the fight progresses I think will favor Cotto due to experience and better corner, he'll be able to adjust better than Canelo, plus Canelo stamina is questionable.

Now, guys like Floyd, Mosley, Trout have said that Cotto has heavier hands than Canelo, which I wasn't expecting...from the outside it seems Canelo but all 3 guys stepped in with both guys.

Canelo's best chance imho is to catch Cotto coming in w/ counters, cause Cotto tends to jump (more slide) in, specially when throwing the jab and also pin him against the ropes...On the other hand, I'll like to see how he reacts to Cotto's power!!! Intriguing fight!

I have no favorite in this fight.

This is a great fight !!!

Canelo must press like Margo did in his first fight with Cotto.

Cooto will quit before he gets KO'd

                      BUT

ROACH has him and brought back to life from the days of the defeats of Margo and PAC.

Cotto was wandering in a terrible wilderness and went thru defeats he should never tasted but Roach took him and led him to the promise land. If Jr wasn't doing drugs the Cooto would KO Jr today. Cotto can KO about anyone today!!

                      He can KO Canelo

                      The winners are the fans
