Why wouldn't Golovkin have the balls to give the winner a catchweight, he stated yesterday that he can make 154.

If the wbc tries to be funny,k2 takes them to court, and they take the belt by force. After that, all ggg has to do is take the wbo belt from the Lee-saunders winner, and he becomes THE middlewights champ of the world. Like I said before, the lineal title mean squat if it doesn't belong to the best in the division, which is clearly golovkin.
..... Cotto will ALWAYS be the lineal champ dude !!
We decide who the best fighter is..... not the WBC, and not the Ring
Golovkin needs to be reasonable and sack up for once.
He has talked-the-talk, still waiting for him to walk-the-walk.

150,000 PPV isn't horrible first outing for one star's first outing

Originally posted by sparkman0811 View PostDon't think this is a fair fight, GGG is a naturally bigger dude. Regardless of day of fight weight arguments, you can't compare solid muscle to water weight. At the same time, what should we expect when Canelo-Cotto are fighting at "160" now. So, it is what it is.
Like **** Jones said, "if you can't stand the heat, stay outta the kitchen."
GGG is 5'10 and came in heaviest at 171.
Both are solid muscle.
Size isn't the issue.
Originally posted by Hougigo View PostI'm on and off with the possibility of a voluntary. They'd definitely want a May or September date, but a September date would cut it close to Ward/Kov and a May date would cut it close to Pac.
Also it's no voluntary unless camps agree... both camps would totally agree to a voluntary
Originally posted by PRBOXINGCOTTO View PostLmaooo wbc got another thing coming because once cotton beats canelo ass he will do a rematch or Floyd coming out of retirement to rematch cotto little ggg brings nothing to the table and his low ppv sales will show
Catto has nothing to offer him. No belt, and the fight isn't exactly gonna be labeled as close.
Also, no way Floyd fights him at 155 or up, so the lineal would be meaningless to Floyd. Floyd is too smart to think he'd get credit for beating Cotto or Canelo at MW minus the belt.

And GGG says he'd come to 154 to fight Floyd, no one else. It's the only fight worth coming down for.
Cotto, they get the belt by default and become Superchamp. They take the Lee fight and GGG will be huge star anyways.
Originally posted by aboutfkntime View PostObviously not.
But do Golovkin or his fans care about that ?
GGG said yesterday he can make 154, and he demanded a CW from Ward.
And yet he refuses a catchweight for the little guys.
I see whats up.

Besides, if GGG is willing to come down to fight Floyd. Ward was not willing to come down. How's that a mark on GGG.Last edited by Progrssive_Jedi; 10-20-2015, 08:11 PM.

The number of ignorant fools around here is beyond comprehension. They claim to be boxing fans but are afraid of having their fighter defend his title properly against the best in the division. And they are so delusional that they think he will still be the real champion after he runs away with his tail between his legs like a whipped dog.
Yeah, some boxing fans you are. You are an insult to real sports fans everywhere.

Picking that belt out of a trashcan literally does nothing to advance Golovkin's career. He needs to beat the winner because that is what is truly meaningful.
IF Golovkin wants to fight the winner of that fight, then he is going to dance a little jig if the winner tells him to dance and if they ask him to jump he is going to need to say how high, then jump higher.
Sucks for him but that is the story, and it is really only going one way because those guys do not need Golovkin. However if Golovkin does as they ask with no back talk (until the fight is signed) he might get his shot.
They used money as an excuse to " over-look " both Ward and Lara.
Now Team Golovkin want to walk away from the best possible payday on the planet because they dont want to give the little guy a catchweight..... despite stating yesterday that Golovkin can make 154.
Now we can see why Golovkins resume' is so underwhelming.
It appears that he doesn't want to fight anybody with world-class skills.
