Kovalev offered him the fight directly, but Artur wanted to be the mandatory instead,so he could force a purse bid and try to get kovalev to vacate. Karmas a b*tch.

Really hanz? We both know that Artur was offered the fight on hbo, because that's the only place that kovalev could fight. If kovalevs side lost the purse bid, he wouldn't be able to fight on pbc, because it would be a breach of the exclusive contract. Instead of taking the fight on hbo and getting the chance to take all 3 of kovalevs belts,Artur decides to set himself up as the mandatory for only one of his belts. The only logical reason for that would be to try to force a purse bid,and get kovalev to vacate.

Purse bids>exclusive deals it would be HBO fault if Krusher had to vacate as they would be ones telling him to drop the belt but all that can be avoided if they stop being cheap and actually start paying them especially kov dude is p4p number one and get treated the worse out of all the guys on exclusive deals on HBO because his promoter got ****s for brains
