Canelo has improved since Mayweather

I'm rooting for Cotto however I do like Canelo. Canelo has won me over with his last several fights. The young man has developed into a fine boxer and I see him using some of Floyds moves. Cotto will have a tough night with the young man and being on the biggest stage a second time I think he'll perform better.

Exactly. The guy was fighting on Floyd undercards and had one main event fight on Showtime prior to 2013. He forced Floyd's hand by refusing to fight on the Guerrero undercard and sold out the Alamodome against a no name guy in Trout to prove he was a big draw with the Mexican fanbase.
He fought the top guy and lost but raised his profile in the game and now he is the man on HBO. Like I said before, he has to keep winning and if he does the Floyd loss will look much different down the line.
