Floyd held at title at 154, so of course Fitz wanted him to fight the best JMW.
Mayweather was not a JMW, he just fought there, 160 is too much for him.Comment

According to some BoxingScene poster (and posters on other sites as well), USADA, the entire state of Nevada, every referee, other boxing promoters, and any writer who doesn't show 100% bias against him is in either Mayweather or Haymon's pockets. I saw a post saying that Mayweather would be a billionaire if he weren't paying off so many people. It's funny and sickening at the same time.Comment

It seemed absurd to me.
Maidana fought with 8oz punchers gloves.
" glove-gate " is likely the worst piece of ******ia that Mayweather haters have run with.
I cannot fathom how that overblown irrelevant rubbish could put you off a fighter..... I gotta wonder how much of a Mayweather fan you really were.
It is absurd to think that Maidanas magic gloves could have made a difference..... really, any glove that will determine the difference between winning and losing is likely suspect.Comment

The difference is that GGG doesn't go around saying he's the GOAT after running and dancing his way past undersized, beaten up or just older "former" champions. The bar is higher because Fraud made it higher but as usual Fraud just doesn't want to pay for it. Your point is valid though that Ray Leonard was a true champion taking the challenges he did. Fraud has proven he is not by avoiding them his entire career. If ya wanna boast your the GOAT then step up or shut up because that decision determines your credibility.Comment

Thanks to the writer for the research and weight revelations.
Paints a much more accurate picture of the boxing landscape.
Bookmarked for future discussion.Comment
