Why you keep talking about GGG and Ward? GGG can take that fight if not next, year then 2017, or 2018. Hopefully GGG and Ward will be p4p no1 and 2 respectively by then..
How some people think Floyd v GGG and GGG v Ward is comparable is anyones guess. GGG hasn't even fought the winner of Canelo and Cotto yet for Goshs sake.
I think that Mayweather has retired, I dont think he'll come back.

And if he did, I highly doubt that he will rematch Pacquiao.

    Maybe, not sure.

But Mayweather is a welter, and Golovkin is a middleweight.

Whereas Golovkin was willing to fight other SMW's, just not Ward.

Golovkin is not even willing to consider a catchweight for Cotto/Canelo.
GGGs not p4p no1 yet so why would he fight Ward? Floyd being no1 p4p you put higher expectations on what he should do to show he deserves it, that is how it should work.

Floyd wouldn't allow a catch weight for JMM or Pac so whats your point? He needed one for Canelo. Maybe GGG would fight Ward with a CW now to help preserve his unbeaten record like Floyd does. Maybe when people pro claim GGG p4p no1, GGG wont request a CW with Ward, as being no1 p4p you have a responsibility to show you deserve it. Floyd don't seem to think he needs to justify it.
Maybe Floyd has proved he deserves to be no1 p4p, but he hasn't proved he belongs with the higher echelon ATGs

I think Mayweather likely comes in about 15 pounds lighter than GGG if they fight (a fight I'm totally again, it's unfair, Floyd is too old and too small. He can't hurt GGG at all).

My point is, Ward would be about 15 pounds heavier than GGG if they fought.

The difference is, GGG can hurt Ward. I think that fight should happen, prob 2017.
For all the talk of "GOLOVKIN STOPS EVERYBODY!!!!!!!!!1!!", when was the last time he actually put someone out? TBH, it's been a while.

Ward is bigger than Golovkin's typical opponent, Ward has shown no wobble since moving up to 168, and Ward isn't going to just stand there and let Golovkin tee off on him.

For whatever reason, folks seem to ignore that Ward can hurt Golovkin as well, by a handful of ways.

            1. It'll have zero to do with Ward.

            2. It's two PPV stars together.

            3. It's as much about two country rivalry.

            4. Quite literally GGG first PPV.

            5. Roc Nation has overpaid Ward in past, likely loses money. I'm not sure what he'll get, but if your suggestion Ward is a bigger star than GGG, you need to start looking around you.

            Laughable.

You think Ward walks around at 180, but doesn't fight any heavier.

He is having trouble making weight at 168.

He at least fights at 185, if not 190.

There is nothing laughable about that.

-Ward is going to be a significant part of the media blitz for the fight (American fighter who's most comfortable with the English language will be asked to "press the flesh"; radio circuit, ESPN family of programs, and possibly another The View appearance, among other things).

-Andre Ward was 173lbs, with three weeks to go to his last fight (after not being in the ring for over 14 months); the fact that you've willfully ignored that fact, to try and sell your "he can't make 168" story is laughable.

              What GGG says should matter.

I don't think Floyd is wrong to think himself great. He is supposed to.
#2.... to ever put on a pair of gloves, before he's even fought anyone that was even live. To hell with Ray Robinson, Marvin Hagler, or Bernard Hopkins; according to Sanchez, he had Golovkin at #2 ever, while he was still feasting on Euro bums. lol
