Oscar talks bollocks whenever he speaks. His opinions have always been terrible. It just shows you can be a rich successful articulate businessman, but still not very smart.

From what i see with GGG hes so technically sound, tight guard and his form doesnt break down the stretch, thats great stamina/endurance so its gonna be tough to beat him from the get go. 1st one would need a jab and of course speed. Roman Gonzalez, had he been bigger of course, has the tools to defeat the G man. GGG will only be defeated by an elite fighter an itll be a boxing match not some slugfest. With that jab one would be wise to slip OUTSIDE, straight left, turn him, overhand right..

Im more intrigued by a Ward fight..

There are plenty of videos on Youtube detailing the subtleties of Golovkin's methodical approach, I guess maybe its a good thing people don't get it, maybe it benefits him that other trainers and coaches don't see it. It took me watching a few of these videos to understand them (we are all students of the game til the death!) and it made me appreciate him for it. What's funny is that some of these guys talking about his weaknesses (he does indeed tend to lower keep his hands low late in fights) but what they leave out is that its part of his setting up traps (not the lowering of the hands of course).

Canelo or Cotto will never face GGG because GGG rehydrate in 24hrs putting on over ten pounds (169). There is no one in 154-160 that could put up a good fight against GGG and I am Cotto's fan.

That's not very much. Against Angulo Canelo rehydrated 19lbs, from 155 to 174. Hell Cotto was hitting 160 fight night 8 years ago, 6 months after moving up from 140

No, Oscar, he's not. I am not ready to crown him as the next coming yet, but he does have boxing skill and also seem to have a decent ring IQ. Lemieux, on the other hand, is all about power.

Never seems to even reach second gear....accurate and powerful hooks and the worse thing is he just keeps coming and coming and you just can't stop it.....I can imagine what golden boy would be saying if Gennady golovkin was there fighter.....Oscar would be drinking buds and doing 8 balls in the women's toilets
ya hes an impressive fighter but u really have to tell urself lemieux is something hes not to be in awe and lemieux is a journey men with power lets be honest

Listen...Oscar just told me in a text conversation that he had sparred Jesus, THE (like THE Ohio State) Buddha, and Marshall Applewhite, and had won all bouts. I mean...obviously Oscar knows about power and is never biased against any fighter. That being said, SHUT THE F**K UP! You lose all credibility when you say this S**t. Oscar has turned in to the Freddie Roach of predictions and callings. He's went from hero to zero. It's sad because the dude was a treasure. EGO EGO EGO.

ward for instance could make him look like a floyd opponent..he could frustate him and prove that he cannot dare box with him..then ggg would throw every shot with mean intentions but ward is too good to get hit with shots he can see...or to be hurt by them i should say...i can see ggg getting discouraged vs a complete fight and taking something off his punches trying to figure it out while that fighter continures to adjust quicker than him...

ndamn outboxed lemiuw..he just couldnt stay up...we knew lemule had no chance..lets not hail him the greated ring technician of all time after that..

wat happens when his back hits the ropes bc a guy doesnt stop coming just bc he takes 2 steps back...have u seen him fire a right hand after 2 steps back with great power?? have u seen a check hook off the back foot? wat is his inside game like off the ropes?? juding from his inside game in the middle of the ring vs monroe im not to please...
Nailed it!! This is what if been saying for the past couple days, but the "FANBOYS" are so hyped that they dont undetstand its like they just started seeing boxing!! For instance, a Sergio Martinez, in his time, would have given him HELL. Why? Boxing skills, thats why, he is still to fight anyone with skills like that, that can Box, cut off the ring, fight backwards, fight off the ropes, comes forward not just lunging in, but inteliggently! Amd noone better say he has, cause he HASNT!!!!
