actually makes since..he didnt look like a great boxer..it looked like david as just bad enough to not know how to deal with a jab..i guy like oscar who can come foward, counter well, fight on inside, and move would give GGG hell...oscar in prime that is..that would be a great fight..i did see weaknesses in GGG's game vs a pretty bad fighter imo..

he backs right up when u pressure him and is not a backfoot counter puncher nor has he proven that he can fight off the ropes...david didnt apply enough pressure bc he didnt trust his defense as he walked in...

and its quite simple GGG does not want to be on the inside..not even with willie monroe

No, Lemieux is all about power. Golovkin has much more than that.

Never seems to even reach second gear....accurate and powerful hooks and the worse thing is he just keeps coming and coming and you just can't stop it.....I can imagine what golden boy would be saying if Gennady golovkin was there fighter.....Oscar would be drinking buds and doing 8 balls in the women's toilets
GGG's jab was so powerful and effective that it kept Lemieux from generating any offense. You could almost say that the most important component of GGG's defense on Saturday night was his jab.

Til,I just think that you're overanalyzing the fight way too much. Golovkin was able to beat lemieux with just his left hand. Golovkin established his range, pumped the jab,and took away lemieux's greatest weapon, which was his power. Golovkin fights differently based on who's in front on him,and im more that sure that he can do all those things you said he can't,but he just has to have an opponent good enough to force him to do them.

I think the fishnets cut off a lot of circulation of oxygen to Oscar's brain.. that plus the coke... the guy is just totally shot..

If Triple G is all power..wtf is Lemieux then lol?...

I'm sure if Triple G were signed to Golden Boy though.. he'd be the 1 lb 1 for fighter, right Oscar?

That's quite sad. GGG is an Olympic Silver Medalist and has a great amateur pedigree of gazillion amateur fights where he lost a handful like 4 or 5. His technique is truly a pleasure to watch.

I guess Oscar was hoping Lemeiux clocks GGG, so they can save Canelo from GGG, cuz if Alvarez wins, he would definitely force their hand and make the GGG fight like he did with Lara. Why else would you risk a new champion of yours like that?

i agree with oscar that depending on the level of his comp he will be confused and brought down to only a power puncher...

ward for instance could make him look like a floyd opponent..he could frustate him and prove that he cannot dare box with him..then ggg would throw every shot with mean intentions but ward is too good to get hit with shots he can see...or to be hurt by them i should say...i can see ggg getting discouraged vs a complete fight and taking something off his punches trying to figure it out while that fighter continures to adjust quicker than him...

ndamn outboxed lemiuw..he just couldnt stay up...we knew lemule had no chance..lets not hail him the greated ring technician of all time after that..

wat happens when his back hits the ropes bc a guy doesnt stop coming just bc he takes 2 steps back...have u seen him fire a right hand after 2 steps back with great power?? have u seen a check hook off the back foot? wat is his inside game like off the ropes?? juding from his inside game in the middle of the ring vs monroe im not to please...
