Andre Ward vs. Rohan Murdock Nov 21 on Cotto/Canelo undercard

Its not a good thing, putting smaller inexperienced fighters in with top guys just to make the top guys look good can be dangerous and even get somebody killed. If Ward is not ready for top guys again yet at least find a durable and proven journeyman.Looks like Andre Ward will probably fight Rohan Murdock, according to sources in the USA and Australia.
Rohan Murdock
- age 23
- super middleweight, but he'll need to move up to 175 for the fight
- has never even fought a decent journeyman opponent
- has never fought outside Australia
- rather slow-footed
- looks VERY limited and inexperienced
- throws 1 punch at a time and lacks handspeed
- you can see him on YouTube
This will be a very easy win for Ward. But is it honorable to put an inexperienced kid like Murdock in with him, or should they have chosen a tougher opponent?Comment

yeah hopefully it doesn't turn out like garcia-salka and quillin-zefara. those fights were totally unnecessary and potentially dangerousComment
-
no....once again....he has to reestablish himself from being inactive....common sense bro
When fighters have long lay offs they have tune ups....duh
This isn't the most complex thing in the world ya knowComment
-
if he needs a tune-up, then obviously it's because he's not at his best. we will only know whether he is back at his best when he fights a proper opponent. understand?Comment
-
Then tune up on those Cuban prospects that HBO wanted him to fight. This is a joke, and the guy is a SMW novice going up in weightComment
-
He's certainly not a contender duh. You mean for Aussie regional belt? And it looks like Ward is dragging him up in weightComment
