Ward is a nobody, who would beat the livin' **** outta this hypejob. Which is why f@gg0t ass fake fight fans like yourself don't want it.

If negotiations between Cotto/Canelo, and GGG were to happen, there will be a Catch weight request, and a catch weight acceptance. Although I do believe that GGG will not go under 157, so I expect that if any variation of this fight happens, it will be at a catch weight of 157 lbs. Also If Cotto wins next month, a GGG fight would not be negotiated in 15 days, unless GGG agrees to all demands, including the previously mentioned catch weight, and the possible 75-25 split, which was rumored as what Cotto wants for a GGG fight. Also barring the minuscule possibility of Mayweather looking for #50, and a middleweight title, as well as Cotto taking a month off before he is even willing to discuss his next opponent, which he traditionally does.

Bottom line; If Cotto/Canelo are even entertaining a fight against GGG, and will actually negotiate, that 15 day rule (which I have never heard of) would not be enforced by either party, and I don't see Loeffler leaving money on the table, so expect a catch weight.

Good. It's the middleweight title, if you don't want to fight at 160, then move down to 154.

The fight is never going to happen, that belt will be up for grabs no matter who wins the fight.

So quite rightly, GGG should expect the fight to take place at the normal 160 pound middleweight limit.

The 164 catchweight with Ward involves two men in separate weight classes without any concern for belts at 160 or 168.
Don't get me wrong, I hate CW's too, and in my opinion either Cotto or Canelo have to take their responsability, (specially Cotto being the MW champion).

See the problem are the double standards and contradictions, GGG and his team talk. "I will fight Chavez Jr or Froch @168 , big fight, big drama show, for Ward? he ain't relevant, he needs to regain status, I only fight him @CW 164............

It's right there folks, if you blind and you don't want to see facts, it's on you.

BTW I'm a Golovkin fan, really like his boxing. not hating on him.

Agree with GGG, let' stop this catchweight non-sense and he the Ward fight ever happens might as well be at 168.

Right, so you would prefer to walk away from that HUGE payday knowing that the winner will be stripped, enabling you to fight some bum for a vacant belt?

And this is after demanding a catchweight from Ward ?

That is P4P shht right there !

                    No, wait.....

He would be expected to win given that he weighed in at a 172 pound limit for his last fight and that's 2 pound heavier than Golovkin weighed in the ring last night.

Ward's career just gets sadder and sadder. People will look back on this and wodner why he spent years calling out a small middleweight. They won't understand the racial politics behind it or how his fans expected him to "take out" GGG. It will just look like Ward became a coward overnight.
