He did not fight like Ward. You know how we know that he didn't fight like Ward? Because the people says so with their wallets. If they fought identically, then Ward would be selling out arenas. Not only selling out, but selling out outside of his hometown. This was GGG's Arturo Gatti vs Floyd type PPV debut. His star is only going up. A non-American, non-mexican, non-puerto rican based fighter, drawing crowds in America in places that aren't his hometown. You can't do that unless they find you entertaining. The people paying to see him fight have no ethnic/national loyalty towards him, unless you're saying that Russian-Americans are his fanbase.

Ward would only start to rival that kind of appeal if he dropped the Christian act, and turned heel. His mouth is his only ticket to big money, sold out arena type fights.
