They're always talking about **** that has absolutely nothing to do with the fight. That's why I liked the old Showtime commentary because they actually called the fight, not talking about some out side the ring completely irrelevant ****. Watch some older Showtime fights like Vazquez vs Marquez, Diego Corrales vs Castillo, etc. That stuff was gold. I think the HBO crew has devolved into what they are now it's so far away from how they started the only way to fix it is to replace the entire team.

And yet it's easy to make threads highlighting the lows, they have been solid a number of times as well, for matthysse-postol recently. On the other side showtime did a solid job for broner-khabib that night.
Showtime are much more professional, it's not even in the same league IMO.

And, I must admit, the first time I heard Harold Lederman speak I thought it was a cartoon character.

It would be better if they god rid of Max Kellerman.

He's so childishly annoying he drives viewers away.

I think they are fine ... but then the commentary over here is **** so anything from across the pond is great in comparison.

I don't get these ****** threads. As if my boxing world revolves around these commentators. When I watch boxing I don't expect commentators to be without bias. It's delusional if you do so. And I don't watch boxing all alone in some lonely basement. People around me talk, talk, talk, therefore it's hard to even listen to what commentators are saying. I don't care.

Their opinions are no worse or better than the guy in the street corner. They're humans with opinions. Have you clowns heard Ranallo? Yet I don't make a huge deal of it.

What we can do is . . .

Some one making a video highlighting how poor their commentary has been. Share that video across all social media platforms

Start a petition and send it to HBO saying "We are tired of the current commentary team. We refuse to watch any of your programming until each member of the commentary team is replaced." Then actually follow through on that and watch HBO fights online through streams and spread all the possible streams widespread for every event.

People would be surprised if concentrated more on doing things that benefit a whole how easy things could get accomplished. If HBO sees this petition and sees that since the petition became viral that their numbers drastically went down they would be forced to take it seriously and do as we request because at the end of the day it's a business.

John Rawling of BoxNation is as awful as any commentator, and that effeminate-sounding guy who works with him is bad too.

Bob Sheridan is poor too, as are Farhood, Atlas and Hunter.

Good ones for me are Tarver, Bernstein, Hopkins, Fischer, Tessitore and Lampley.

Atlas has been slowly getting worse as years go on, he acts as If he was a good boxer and trainer during those Friday night segments where he displays what tactic a fighter needs to take If anything fighters should watch it so they know what they shouldn't do.
