Well well now...great heart by David to stick around as long as he did. Golovkin beat his @ss with the jab alone. Now let the hate brigade commence their drivel.....

GGG is way too experienced to have hit Lemieux on the knee. Even Roy Jones Jr. said that could've been a DQ, or at the very least a point deduction. Why did HBO choose this ref!? Even Lemieux said it was a bad stoppage. GGG didn't even hunt this time around he went back to jabbing. And HBO on a boner translating range control as the best Middleweight stats have to have offer yet Lampley is always *****ing about fighters not fighting. There you go. HBO garbage as usual. Wait till the post conference.

Going to be a very interesting and important next couple of months for Golovkin now. We'll find out how his PPV did, who wins Cotto/Alvarez, and whether that winner will fight him or Golovkin will have to make a crucial decision about whether to stick around at middleweight.

i'm not saying he's the one, and i wasn't cheering for David. But he stopped a very good fight where he was giving GGG lots of problem. When have we ever seen that? Never

GGG took his game to another level. He didn't just slug he proved that he could jab and outbox you too. That's what confused David the jab. He wasn't prepared for that. Neither was his corner they all thought he eas going to stand and **** and when he didnt they had no plan B. GGG just showed the world he is not just a fastball pitcher he also has a changeup.

I see some people don't like GGG here, but u gotta admit he's a top level fighter, he just beat another title holder and it wasn't even competitive. With that being said, Lemieux winning a title is something that I don't understand, I mean this guy's technique and defense are ridiculously terrible, he was getting hit with that jab at will every single time, no foot work, telegraphs his shots, slow, wide, terrible jab and terrible sense of timing, the whole package really, I'd have him as an underdog against all the top middleweights and even light middleweights.

Canelo and Cotto will never fight GGG, they still can make good paydays fighting easier fights, I can however imagine the winner of Jacobs and Quillin fighting GGG next year especially if the PPV figures for tonight are good.
