Exactly! Well put. It was not GGG who decided the fight should be stopped. He would have gladly continued to beat Lemieux to a pulp. The ref decided, rightly I would say, to stop it before Lemieux took serious damage.

Golovkin did exactly what I had been predicting he would do. I said that Lemieux was too predictable with his shots and that he would have trouble connecting. But so many fools around here liked to claim that GGG had such poor defensive skills that Lemieux would have no trouble landing on him. Well Lemieux landed 89 punches in the fight. 89!!!

So much for GGG's poor defense.

the ref stopped this too early, david was still fighting back probably not at your liking but he is fighting back.
Yeah the ref should have waited for maybe some severe brain damage as he was 3 ft from the action. Keep in mind he could hear the difference in punch force, sickening thuds vs Lemieux's pops. You can never judge a ref for looking out for a fighters well being.

Move up? The guy was sitting at 164 lbs 30 days out from the fight. He can probably get down and fight at 54 if he really wanted to.

Golovkin is literally destroying his opponents. Big difference.
If you're gonna come at someone use facts, instead of hate and opinion. What you just said about Floyd is strictly your opinion because the ending results were a win for Floyd. GGG is getting similar treatment because no one seems to be good enough for him. They say he keeps picking on smaller guys and needs to move up. Weren't the same things being said about Floyd? He's being hated on for being good at what he does, the same as Floyd. Of course GGG is destroying opponents in which Floyd never did but is being hated on similar to Floyd in my opinion.

Clinical performance. The jab was pinpoint.
Lemieux gave the ref the look, he had his fill at that point.

Nope: it's the +/- ratio, for instance... go and check it, kid... in Golovkin's case, I mean.

Lemieux got up. But should of been given time to recover.
Maybe GGG should of been deducted a point, but it would of made zero difference.
... Just something like this... Lemieux acted truthfully -- he didn't fake some 'brain injury' as Dirrell did.
