Colon needs to work on his inside game and also his defense. I still think Colon is going to be a Star, his flaw are all very fixable.

His mistake was assuming the ref would call the fight a certain way. If the ref broke like he wanted then yeah he would have won but in DC they don't break especially that Ref. Colon kept getting tagged while looking at the Ref and while trying to get away from fighting inside and Williams just broke him down because Williams kept his composure and kept working inside

Wasn't no dirty tactics from Williams that I seen, he just slowly broke Colon Mentally. Yes it was punches to the back of the head but Colon was dropping his head and Turning because he did not want any part of Williams on the inside.

Props to Williams, Goosen had his guy more prepared

Colon just looked dull to me after a few rounds, even one or two which I thought he won. I don't know if he got caught with something or gassed or both, but he didn't look sharp at all during that fight to me and, in retrospect, it's surely a great thing that he didn't have to go through that for another three minutes.

No excuses Colon lost his game plan when Williams started fighting rough, if Colon would of stay focus and forgot about the damn ref he could actually won just boxing him.. i did notices that he was gassed out, he needed to rest.

            I hope Colon is ok.

But I felt those punches to the back of the head were his fault for turning away.

The way things played out reminds me of Joe Mesi scenario

Sad to hear. The fight got rough, he was hurt and trying to stay outside. In hind sight, he looked sick, his attitude was odd. His in game disappeared, probably painful or dizziness.
