Fonfara is five inches longer than Kovalev, at least two inches taller than Kovalev, takes a massive shot well, stays active, and doesn't seem to have quit in him.

How does Kovalev react when, come the 7th or 8th round of a hypothetical fight, Fonfara (the bigger man) is still coming forward, pumping out his shots, keeping his pace pushed? Kovalev would be walking into a situation that he'd never faced as a professional, with all the chips on the line, against a real one.

I don't think Kovalev has the fortitude to make it.

Fonfara boxes in my gym and I don't think he can win. He's got a decent high guard, but he stands so stiff and upright.

No upper body movement at all.

You can't just stand there blocking against Kovalev with no upper body movement. He's simply too good to not catch on and his power is deadly.

I assume the people picking Fonfara are joking. He gets hit far too easily to be able to survive Kovalev's accurate and devastating punches. The only way he could win is by KO, but that would most likely be a one punch, and I doubt that would happen.

Bummy Derrick Findley scrambled Fonfaras senses & had him dancing all over the canvas! Following this humiliation Fonfara tested positive for anabolic steroids a few fights later.. People forget this! They also forget Doudou Ngumbu gave him hell recently too! So did Clev in a razor thin war! They overrate him because if they don't Stevenson (& more so the Chavez fan-boys)will look a clown because he got caught up in a latter fight war with this guy..

Fonfaras decent but he's B level & would always falter at the TOP level! Anyone picking Fonfara over Kovalev needs a lobotomy!

Fonfara is very good but gets hit a lot, Kovalev is one of the most devastating punchers in boxing and he can also box. Kovalev via late stoppage. Just because he beat Cleverl lets not get it twisted.

I see nothing that Fonfara offers that struggles Kovalev, Kovalev would destroy him easily its just a matter of how much punishment can Fonfara sustain.
