This guy is been promoted by media too much however he has not demonstrated a 50% of what Floyd and PAC had accomplished in boxing. We will see if GGG has guts after there is no good match at 160 and he decides to move up to 168 to fight Ward.

GGG has opportunity to really bring boxing back. Not because of hate either

There is plenty of time to go up to SMW. He won't be five division champ, but doesn't mean he can't be next Superstar.

Because they're holding the MW title and Lineal.

They're standing in the way of super stardom.

      They are both great.

And he is willing to come down to fight Floyd.

He will be, what, the third guy to unify a division since the era of 4 major titles.

He'll have Lee, Quillin begging. Lara and Andrade moving up. Eubanks coming,

He can get some big fights at 168. Possible Ward if dude Ever stays out of the courtroom long enough to spark some momentum.

That would be one fine legacy.

Yea right. He has beaten everyone in his way.

And when they Tried to get Ward, he was busy. They moved on.

Bigger fights are in his future. If Ward wants it, he'll wait.

GGG is being a bit overrated. To me, Crawford as an equal or better resume and just as good if not better of a boxer. Not to mention Andre Ward who resume is far better than GGG's and skillset equal to or better than GGG.

I am far from a GGG hater but to fill those shoes u need some great fights... By the time May and Pac were 33 they were already HOF and ATGs. He should just stfu and fight and see how far he goes.

inb4 he needs to move up to LHW and beat Ward before he's considered good

May/Pac were great because they moved up and fought bigger guys. Can you grow a pair of balls and do the same?

Until you do, you don't deserve to clean May/Pac's toilet!
                nvm, that didnt take long

Lol @ he has to nerve to compare himself to Hagler, Leonard and Hearns and in general to the "oldschool" while he discredits Pac and Maywether in the same sentence.
He is like 5 years younger than Mayweather and 3 years younger than Pacquiao and you can say excuses why but fact is that Pac's and May's resumes **** all over Golovkin's whose biggest win now is Murray and he fights a guy up next who isn't even on Murray's level.
Compare where Pac and May were by the age of 33 and you will see why Golovin won't be mentioned next to them years later. (Don't come with Hopkins please, he is an extremely rare exception and his style suited for a long run anyway)

If he doesn't step up in competition he won't take over ****...

Yeah that's exactly the built up marketing what they can sell to sheeps like you but most of you are too dumb to understand that. Look at how Mayweather toyed with all of you for 5-6 year minimum. Mayweather got his money from his marketing, from make you pay every time to see him lose and you repeated to buy his fights in hope to see him lose. Only thing happened is that he got richer and richer from your money and he didn't even lose.

this guy will never be greater than mayweather jr nor pacquiao. he can fight as many as painters and shoe salemans all he wants. but he'll never have the same status of the past legends that he mentioned and nowhere near mayweather and pacquiao.
