Honestly if you so called boxing fans aren't excited for this fight after such a dull safety first styled era of boxing for the last 10-15 years.. Then you aren't boxing fans you're just fans of a particular boxer. This fight is what boxing should be every time a boxer steps in the ring... Not the jab to a decision mindset... That kind of mentality is what made an entire generation turn off boxing and open the door for UFC fighters to gain popularity. This right here is what boxing was thought up to be... Let's go

Pacquiao is still in the sport. But he is too chicken to fight Golovkin even at a catch weight.

For a guy with this much hype, to not be young and have that kind of resume, it's ridiculous.

A lot of blame belongs to the media. I read something interesting the other day:

Here are two blurbs about a 1.3 million TV viewership from the same writer and website (I’ll spare the name, but it’s a highly-trafficked boxing site), the first regarding Golovkin’s last fight and the second regarding an Andre Ward bout…Mind you, BOTH have virtually the same viewership numbers:

“Gennady Golovkin delivered a strong TV rating this past weekend, continuing what has been a good year for HBO’s boxing brand…Gennady Golovkin’s win over Willie Monroe Jr on Saturday night kept HBO’s 2015 in boxing going strong in the Nielsens, with 1.338 million viewers…”

              but, regarding Ward?

“1.3 million watched the fight on HBO on Saturday, which is, to best of my knowledge, right about average for recent WCB fights — nothing special, but also avoids being one of those true turd in the punch bowl results…It’s definitely not some big hit…the TV number is … well, it’s adequate, let’s put it that way. I wouldn’t be surprised if there was some internal disappointment at HBO, no matter what they might say. “

Same writer, same numbers, way different twists.

At some point GGG will take on a challenge (we hope). But for now, we'll just have to sift through the bull****.

I won't have to. I'm planning my day accordingly. This is only David Lemiuex he's fighting tonight. Next fight will be in Monaco or Monte Carlo or wherever he fights against Billy Joe Saunders or maybe Heiland(who so many people were bashing Cotto when he was rumored to fight him.)

The sad thing is... All bias and Pacfan and Floydfan to this side

When Pac and Floyd were 33, both of their resumes looked ATG status compared to GGG
