I will admit the conditioning is the only thing that concerns me, and really the only advantage I see for Cotto.

Canelo is in campfor 10 weeks so I'm assuming hoping there working on that because most camps are 8 weeks.

If Canelos stamina holds up he wins

Anybody will say what they need to say in order to land the fight. What bothers me is how Mayweather called out Pac for fighting Cotto at a catch weight and gave Pac no credit for beating Cotto yet he turns around and fights at a catch weight against Canelo and wants full credit. The fact that he wanted to fight Canelo at 147 at first tells me that he was a little concerned since he asked for no catch weights against Oscar or Cotto at 154 yet needed it for Canelo. Nobody knows if it affected Canelo or not but he doesn't get full credit either way. I'm just going by Mayweathers own logic.

EXACTLY that's my issue as well, Mayweather went on a campaign tryin to discredit Pacquiao for catchweights and he turns around an pulls the same **** and doesn't wanna get called out on it.

Floyd was sayin he doesn't fight at catchweights, he only fights guys at there best weight and turns around and pulls a hypocritical move, yet all of a sudden it's justified. People saying 2lbs isn't a big deal don't know what there talking about, especially when you have a guy that is already struggling to make 154.

Yes, he was weight drained at 152, everybody saw it. Including the fat TMT guy in Mayweather's corner and Andre Ward.

                      • Yuri Foreman (one legged rookie) – Won WBA Light Middleweight title.
                      • Ricardo Mayorga (retired drug addict) – Retain WBA LMW Title.
                      • Antonio Margarito (One eyed margo) – Retain WBA LMW Title. (Margarito should have never been granted license due to his busted orbital bone. Once his eye started swelling, the commission got scared and stopped the fight when Margarito was catching up to Cotto. Should the fight lasted one more round, the story would have been different.)
                      • Floyd Mayweather (Everybody knows what happened) – Lost WBA LMW Title.
                      • Austin Trout (not so good boxer) – Lost. Trout made a fool out of Cotto
                      • Sergio Martinez (old man with no legs) – Won MW Title.
                      • Delvin Rodriguez (class C fighter forced to drain)
                      • Daniel Gale (not so good fighter forced to drain)

I’m Puertorican but I’m not blind. Cotto's career @ 154 and @ 160 have been a farce. He is not big enough for those weight classifications so he is just picking really poor opponents and making them drain. I don’t like Gingerboy very much but he will kill Cotto inside 10 rounds. Gingerboy is just too strong, too big, and too young for the old lion. Cotto's going to get about 30 mill anyways, so it is worth the beating.
Lets break this down, yuri foreman tall jr middleweight not a big puncher but a lot of experts picked him to win because cotto got battered by marg and pac and barely got by clottey!! now was cotto winning that fight before yuri leg gave out? cotto box very well in that fight!!

mayorga was a tune up fight for cotto, 2nd fight working with steward again did what he had to do and punished him!! funny thing is mayorga was asked who was the hardest puncher he ever fought and he said cotto, that was very surprising considering he fought tito and Oscar as well as mosely!!

magarito was a dangerous fight for cotto because of marg style that son of ***** can just take punches, and is a big strong volume puncher, I would love to see canelo fight him next if marg looks good in his comeback fight, now marg eye swelled because of him getting thumb in the eye!! funny thing is pac they said coudnt get out of bed for three days because of the body shots marg hit him with, pac lost his prime in that fight!!! people don't realize how brutal it is fighting marg!!!

mayweather walked away from that fight with a win, but that was his toughest fight ever!! that's what he said!! judges did cotto a big injustice in that fight!!!

trout fight has me perplexed? he lost period, my hunch is he didn't take trout serious, he was riding high off of giving mayweather his toughest fight and was smelling himself. think about this cotto up to that point had one good trainer and that was steward I don't know why he left steward but he did, diaz is an amateur trainer who admitted that he was also learning and even praised Freddie roach for working with cotto, for the clottey and pac fight he had a chief second who we still don't know his name? crazy thing is arum went and lokked at pac train for cotto and was impressed then he went and watched cotto and said cotto still had a couple of weeks to get ready!! talk about mismatch in camps!!!!
