Well it seems much worse when you know Hearns and Brook choose to fight Frankie Gavin over trying to get Timothy Bradley that and the fact they low balled with Rios that's the only reason that fight never happened.
They're being purposely cheap If it was Bradley instead of Frankie Gavin and that now they were trying to get Rios/Chaves then I'd say that is acceptable but that's not the case its been two questionable opponents in a row now a guy who has never won one of those big fights he's been in.

Bradley dropped out of the IBF rankings to fight against Jessie Vargas for the interim WBO title. So that's ill informed.

They offered Bradley a fight, but the money wasn't right. Watch that fight (Brook vs Bradley) get made in the spring if both get through their next fights.

rodriguez was absolutely in the top 10 when ward fought him. he'd fit right in with a lot of names on froch's resume, groves particularly, with whom froch struggled and against whom he was nearly stopped.

was froch kicked out of the top 10 for fighting groves and nobody else over the course of mid 2013 to his retirement? they're a similar tier of fighter, particularly when froch had to fight groves the second time whne he was coming off of a knockout loss.
