Will GGG Make You Fall in Love With Boxing Again ?

According to this Article the Author seems to think so..

You would assume that the most exciting boxer in the world would also be one of the most popular, but that unfortunately hasn't been the case for 33-year-old Gennady Golovkin, a Kazakh phenom who was won 30 of his 33 career fights by knockout. Golovkin is,…

Is he the new face of boxing or will it be someone else ..

I've been in love with boxing for many moons pimp. Many moons. Boxers come and go, I love GGG and everyone else active on my sig list, but I will always love the sport and find fighters to get behind.

He's the new face now. That could change quickly but this fight this weekend only helps him and fight with the Cotto-Canelo winner puts him over big. If he keeps fighting often, too, he will be the face for a while unless Kovalev gets hold of Ward.

Gonzalez is great but he is in a division where few big match-ups are. GGG is not in the best division, but there are good potential opponents who can move up. Gonzalez will have to seek out new ones. The good thing is his divisions are so close, he can probably move up quite well.

I think Floyd Mayweather was the worse face of boxing the sport has ever had, I think most of us all can agree on this but like LoadedWraps said I've always liked the sport and I'm sure I'd find someone to if not root for but to enjoy watching.

Boxing for me is more about wanting to see 'my guy' win its about being impressed in a gladiator fashion I want the fighter to take risks and go for the kill so to speak.

He made me fall in love with boxing again, and once he is gone, boxing will die and rot in the depths of HELL.

He was the villain face for sure. De La Hoya, Jones, Chavez, Sr., Leonard, Pacquiao, were all better faces that were so much more exciting. All had flaws of course, but I would watch them fight anytime. Mayweather just bored everybody to death. GGG will be a much more fun one, akin to Chavez, Sr. I believe.

GGG brings new fans to the sport. I know a couple people that will be ordering the ppv that I put on to GGG. I'm sure I'm not the only one.
