the thing is, GGG isn't even a big middleweight. He'll be the smaller man in the ring come October 17th and at 168 he'll be unquestionably undersized. A move to 168 is nothing more than for the sake of a challenge (and it's an 8 pound leap, let's not forget), I think everybody knows Golovkin isn't going to grow into 168 in his mid-30s. But after unifying, it's the natural challenge to take...but I'm quite certain some of the same dummies will turn around and accuse him of roiding if he doesn't look flabby going up a division in his mid-30s.

And how are they a bit small? They are are fighting in the same division as Golovkin and give around 5-10 pounds in weight to him, which is very standard nowadays.

Your reasoning is kinda pathetic too. What your asking for of Golovkin (moving to 168), is no different than asking Cotto/Canelo to slightly move up (they are fighting for the MW title so they aren't really moving up too much).
No my point is it is harder for offensive first fighters to be effective moving up in weight

I cant root for a guy and be skeptical?

Canelo has been at Middleweight come fight night for sometime now. He's just short like Basilio or Griffth were he has a thick body and 154 is not an easy task anymore. Cotto has less body mass but his age makes it difficult to go to 147! I believe he has his best conditioning at 154 but not a big deal to weigh in at 157lbs and still be on task. I'll bet the majority of his best sparring is at 157-62 and Canelo at 158-64. They can easily rehydrate at those weights and feel strong. Thats why Canelo after weighing in 154 rehydrates to 165 and hits the ring even heavier than that.

Both can be legit at 160 because their there now with Cotto the champ, Lemunix the champ and GGG the champ. I want one champ, to me its GGG because title belt soup BS has become a joke but if he wants the belts his
            objective is his choice.

If GGG was Black you would praise him like hagler and say his competition is solid . 160 is just as competitive at 147 before iv floyd fake retired .
Really?? then why dont i praise Wilder?

The competition at 160 just isn't that strong. To be fair, Martinez's handlers did not want the fight, Quillin, who since has become irrelevant, has ducked him and Sturm paid money to avoid fighting him. Chavez Jr. could no longer find diuretics strong enough to help him get down to 160. Jacobs would get brutalized. Pirog had management issues and had a career ending injury. Cotto and Canelo would rather fight at the 157 and 3 8th's pounds division.

After Lemiuex, I believe its time for GGG to move up.

Answer this: List the possible opponents for GGG at 168.
Fights that could actually get made.
