like i've already predicted ggg is 33 finna be 34 his BEST days are behind him his CEILING has been reached he's not developing into a better fighter at 33 & 34 years old. we KNOW what to expect like ive predicted Ward by DOMINATION i dont think he loses a round to ggg and Ward stops him tko in the 10th or 11th

Your fear is pathetic, a superior boxer like Ward should test himself by moving up in weight and fighting the best challenge available in Kovalev, not seeking out a midget like GGG. This HBO deal should have been squared away weeks ago, instead HBO is wondering why Ward needs 35 tuneups in order for him to face easy money like Kov.

I think GGG's handlers are really pushing for him to be the new face of boxing. Today during a commercial break while watching the Bears game, I saw a commercial for one of those smart fit monitors. Golovkin was featured in it, shadow boxing and looking at the device they were advertising. First time I've seen a boxer other than Pacquiao or Mayweather featured in a commercial in forever. Also at a local bar I went to tonight, saw advertisement for GGG - Lemieux PPV. I guess this guys getting mainstream exposure.

Actually, Lampley has Ward rated at his number 1 P4P position right now. I think HBO takes it easy on Ward because he does commentary for them. Just as PBC takes it easy on Paulie. You can't be honest about these guys and then have them on your network doing commentary. It simply will not work.

If HBO was never to have Ward as a commentator again, I am sure their views of him would be considerably different. But both Kellerman and Lampley have to sit at a broadcast table with Ward on occasion and they would not want an uncooperative color commentator at the table.

Well to be honest I think lampley is the worst boxing analyst I have ever heard....some of the things that comes out of his mouth is terrible.......I put lampley and Bob Sheridan as almost the same......problem with half of the commentatorss as they get older they lose there ability to call properly and become biased....so him calling ward number as well.....it's like listening to Don King talk about how much he loves using hair conditioner........roy Jones talks sense most of the time.....Harold lederman calls it most times correct ....I don't know what max Kellerman and Jim lampley did in there past careers before boxing but it certainly wasn't learning about the noble sport...I know more in my left bollock than these 2 clowns

Which is why Lampley is in the Boxing Hall of Fame and both he and Kellerman earn salaries discussing boxing that you could only dream of. I love people who post on forums who think they know more than those who earn their living from the sport. You know more than they do? Then contact HBO and prove it so that you can take their place on the air.

i dont like fighters who dont think in the ring and just go in there with wreckless abandon and swing for the fences with no discipline.
and i dont see much of mayweather in ward to be honest i see a damn near clone of a prime Bernard Hopkins with little add ons of mayweather and roy jones.
i've seen Ward say: "Bernard Hopkins, Floyd Mayweather & Roy Jones are my 3 legends"
but B Hop is the most obvious influence on Ward
and to be honest i think Crawford beats pacquiao, bc pacquiao has ALWAYS had trouble with "boxers" and TC is a Boxer/Puncher and slick and ambidextrous i dont really see that fight as competitive based off of styles
