List with all who ducked Golovkin:
    - Pirog (2012), Martinez (2012-2014), COTTO, Quillin, Lee, Chavez Jr (former champ) -- all at 160...
    - Ward (in 2013-2014), Froch (IBF champ) at 168...

Lately, team Golovkin 'ducked' Lara and Ward -- as Golovkin has Lemieux and Cotto/Canelo winner as next fight and/or mando...

Meanwhile, Ward 'ducked': Bute (IBF champ back in 2012), Kessler 2 (in Denmark), Froch 2 (in Nottingham, because he wanted the Wembley Stadium only)... Ward also 'ducked' Golovkin and Stevenson (who called him out in 2014 and 2014)...
quillin never turned down a fight with ggg he just wanted to get paid for it. they wouldnt pay him so he went to Al Haymon and got him more $ fighting somebody else than to fight ggg chavez jr didnt duck no damn ggg EVERYBODY knows that he was fighting at 168 bc he is undisciplined and was banned for like 8 months for banned substance(mary jane)
we dont have to associate ward with "ducking" bc EVERY journalist and pundit and boxing afficionado has NEVER equated such nonsense except for "fans" of certain fighters how can ward "duck" fighters he's already beat SOUNDLY and with one arm LITERALLY? stevenson is the ONLY threat in this bunch bc of his rocket left hand BUT he's now 38 years old his best years are behind him. but Ward NEVER "ducked" him. he wasnt at LHW so nobody said anythang about it.
now that ward is finally moving up to 175 he is the favorite in EVERY matchup and will take over that division like he did at 168 B Hop is 50 and Stevenson is 38 they wont be fighting much longer so its gonna be Ward vs kovalev and the new up & coming dude who i think is better than ggg and thats the beterbiev cat from europe. come again

      DON'T FEED THE TROLLS!!!!!

Every time a Golovkin thread comes along, up pops one of these alts to troll the thread and people fall for it every time. Take BlackSoul out of this thread and figure out how many posts there would be?

It is getting to the point where I am starting to suspect that these alts are actually moderators who are trying to get things going in a thread by making troll posts. I cannot see any other logical reason that these obvious troll alt handles are allowed to continue polluting just about every Golovkin thread on the board.

So PLEASE IGNORE THESE TROLLS. DO NOT REPLY TO THEM. USE YOUR IGNORE LIST.

Sooner or later they will get the point that no one is taking the bait and we will actually be able to have a decent discussion on Golovkin and the upcoming fight. The alternative is watching each and every GGG thread turned to SHIT. And if the moderators of this board allow that to happen, I see no real reason to continue posting anything here at all.

well i'm def not a moderator wouldnt mind becoming one if there are perks to it.
i just dont like biased ass fans not being objective with their critiques
critique a fighter on their SKILLS not on what goes on outside the ring out of the hands of the boxer SKILLS wise Ward beats ggg into submission on every level ggg has power but he's never fought at super middle so his power might not even come up with him to 168 and DEF not at 175 he'd get KO'd by average fighters bc of his style. Ward is #1 p4p for a reason.

Help! ... the hype is getting to me.

I'm gonna go for a 350,000 + PPV sales, and, assuming that GGG wins, that will seal his anointment as a bonafide megastar in Boxing. He will be able to negotiate on equal terms with either Canelo or Cotto and there will be no doubt in everyone's mind who the B side is any future Ward/GGG negotiations - unless Ward goes on to unite the LHW division.

No Starpower is correct, has been with zero fan base is much closer to the truth.

If Ward was allowed to clinch, he would probably get Ko with one of GGG's devastating uppercuts. He can punch in close quarters, Murray described it as "torture". Ward wouldn't stand a chance, clinching or not.

This card epitomizes the difference between HBO and the utter mismatches being peddled by its competitors. GGG-Lemieux will be a great fight while it last but I think Gonzalez-Viloria will steal the show. If anyone can pull off the upset on Gonzales, it's Viloria. He isn't lying when he says he is the hardest hitter and fastest fighter that Gonzalez has ever faced. I’m also looking forward to Parker-Meehan. Parker looked real good in his last few fights, it's a shame he isn't getting much attention outside of NZ.

Should be an overall fun night of fights!

GGG really can become bigger if he wins this fight and then go after better fights, hopefully the Canelo/Cotto winner fights him, I don't see them doing so after their fight doe.

Murray and award are totally different in class, what might be difficult for Murray might not be for Ward due to the class difference.

his toughest test to date – not so much his challenge versus David Lemieux, but testing driving the Pay-Per-View market... lol
