He has a great jab and great timing with it.

    It's effective, not pretty.

Fury has a very decent jab and reach so it will come down to who uses the jab best on the night.

    Boxing 101.

      What a laughable question.

We're not talking about his jab vs the other heavyweights. The quote is from a thread where someone said it was undeniable that Wlad had the best jab in all of boxing, which is obviously not true.

        It's also a subjective opinion.

When I think of a great heavyweight jab, I think of Sonny Liston who would move forward and use that enormous reach to really snap his opponents head back and get him out of his rythm to back up with a hook or a right hand.

Or Muhammad Ali or Larry Holmes who would triple or quadruple a snappy jab and circle around their opponents, frustrating them and then coming in with a quick combo.

Or look at recent great heavyweight jabs like Foreman in the late 80s and 90s who literally had the hardest ramrod jab, or Rid**** Bowe. There was always a reason why they would use the jab, and it was always to do damage in the end.

Honestly, I don't see any of that from Wlad. He stands on the backfoot with his left arm out in the air. It's quick enough to touch his opponents face with it and prevents the mostly limited opponents from coming inside because he does have a helluva right hand that comes if they do get past the jab. Or one of these come along.

The idea of Wlad's jab is great. People want him to be the guy that throws the meanest 1-2 but he just doesn't do it anymore.

Wlad has a good, effective jab. One of the best of all time? No.

              Also ridiculous polling options.

I never said it was average or mediocre.
