He has already moved up to ligh heavy...his last fight proved that and yes he should try and prove himself against fighters who weigh the same as him...KOVALEV , BETERBIEV STEVENSON etc...not only is ward making a **** of himself but so are his fanboys.....I don't think he will be able to use his head...or arms or elbows to fighters that cAn actually match him for strength....now he has no option than to face legitimate contenders instead of weight draining a Dawson or calling on a small middleweight.....time to face the crusher

If you actually used your brain, you would realize GGG made himself look ****** when it came to Andre Ward. No top names want to fight him but then when Ward comes knocking, it's a bunch of excuses. He's irrelevant but Golovkin just fought Willie Monroe. Ward has to fight at a catch weight 164, Chavez and Froch at 168 is ok though. Golovkin said anyone from 154-168 can get it. Use your brain and wake up bro.Comment

actually, you have it backwards. When GGG couldnt get any 160 unifications, and was looking outside the division at Chavez, Froch, etc, Andre Ward was nowhere to be found. But NOW that GGG has the Lemieux unification coming up, mandated for the Cotto-Canelo winner unification after that, well here comes Ward rattling his tin cup looking for a handout. If you actually used your brain, you would realize GGG made himself look ****** when it came to Andre Ward. Sorry Andre, that ship has sailed for the time being......Comment

Ok fair enough. Why would an unproven MW beltholder feel confident vs SMW p4p #2? Unless you feel he's a phony p4per, since he needs 3 tuneups to face top guys 3lbs north. That's not to mention the whole joke deal these guys tried to put forward. Now I feel it's uncompetitive because team Golovkin wants no parts of Ward. If they don't feel confident why should I?
Best fighters one division apart have faced each other for ages. Especially when they are both p4p
Oh stop crying. You dudes are the worse. You kiss my ass when I defend your favorite fighters or criticize my favorite fighters then cry racism when you disagree with me. Grow up.Comment

That's just how it works in boxing, dumba$$: if you're BET, other guy HBO PPV, you want 50/50 lol, you better make a concession."Loeffler indicates that their strategy, since last year, has been to unify the middleweight division. However, during that time period they did explore potential fights at super middleweight with both Carl Froch & Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. When it came to Ward, Loeffler & Golovkin's trainer Abel Sanchez made it very clear that a catchweight of 164-pounds would be required."
So basically they only would fight Froch & Chavez Jr at 168 lbs but Ward at 164 lbs. & the reason why they want the catchweight is because "ward isn't a draw".
I mean, if you are a ggg fan and are ok with that..... Then you are full of shit & can't complain about catchweights from this point on.Comment

All triple G's team had to say is that Ward is not in their immediate future/plan (which is technically true) and all of this would have gone away. Instead every time they open they're mouth, they further embarrass themselves.
its a PR disasterComment

It wouldn't have gone away, thats all Team Ward have at this point: Lil G, 36 minutes, lawsuit threats etc. Gotta stay relevantComment
