Yes he's a great talent. Probably top 3 pfp right now. Still doesnt change the fact that there's little demand for him at the moment outside of hardcore fans. A few exciting wins against some familiar opponents can change that.
Again, that's not true. The only fights bigger for Golovkin would be Cotto and Alvarez, and that has nothing to do with Golovkin but the huge fanbases those two have. That's why Golovkin's people are always asked about Ward, because people want to see it.

Ward is relevant and much more known than given credit for.

Just create a Ward thread and see.

Create a Ward/GGG thread and you all will see its the biggest fight that can be made right now

So in your opinion as a boxing fan, forgetting all others' opinions, coaches, trainers, promoters, fans, do you personally think the playing field is level in the #2 P4P's division? Show me exactly why this is a 50/50 fight where one fighter referred to as hype job is moving up while the other don't. Where is the advantage in the smaller guy?

The matchup itself is intriguing. It has nothing to do with Ward's stand alone drawing power.

GGG a Kazakh is fighting a Canadian in NYC and sold out MSG. Ward cant sell out a small arena in his own home town.

Relevant amongst us diehard fans YES. He's not relevant as far as the networks are concerned or else HBO would have gave him his dates rather than turn him and his choice of opponents down.

Ward in my opinion is top 3pfp at the moment but he's not a box office draw, nor a fan favorite. When people criticize his relevancy or lack there of, they're referring to him being relevant as far as star power. In that aspect he's not. He lacks personality and an exciting style.

The lineal 168 pound undefeated champion isnt a relevant fight for a middleweight with an ABC title defended against B-C level opponents who would fight two lesser fighters in Chavez and Froch at 168.

                      **** off GGG
