GGG and Ward currently fight 2 weight classes apart and according to RN sports/HBO/Kathy Duva, there are talks for Ward to face Kovalev next year. Can Ward even make 168? Also, do you hold a fighter like Floyd to the same standard by saying he ducked GGG despite GGG fighting 1-2 weight classes above where Floyd fought and had titles at? How can GGG be too big for Floyd yet as it stands, Ward isnt too big for GGG?

Now if Ward was a solid 168lb fighter, then there would be more to discuss. GGG can go up a few lbs (as he stated he would) while Ward come down a few lbs. This would even things up a little bit. Or maybe GGG makes the move to 168 after unifying 160. I'm for that as well. But to say that a 160lb fighter is ducking a LHW is just ridiculous. It just goes to show you how good you feel GGG is despite what you claim.
One fight at a cw after a long layoff doesn't make you a lhw or whatever weight you fight at after layoff you guys trying live off he a lhw when he fought at cw and could of made 168 if wanted to was 172 2weeks before fight is y'all excuse

You can hate on GGG and like Canelo without making up stuff, noone will think less of you.
im no canelo fan, but i do like him challengin himselt 100 times more than ggg has..and in all of these challenges he's had a tough time just at 23-24...so much more respectable than a 33 year old who has yet to move up a weight class..and who has yet to fight a current champion until now...

fact is canelo has not fought at 160..and he could make 154..they are just making excuses for their floyd loss at 152 by fightin at 155 imo...

and i do think canelo's tough times in fights told him to slow his role..thats why u have seen canelo vs ggg yet...remember the guy is only 24

Oscar won't put Canelo in with GGG right away (assuming Canelo gets past Cotto). They'll wait him out.

i still believe to this day if ggg didnt entertain chavez jr or froch at 168, people wouldnt bring up ward. the reason why is because in the real boxing fan's mind, any 160 fighter who was interested in moving up to 168 wanting to fight the best would have been held to the same standard. if that fighter chose to fight the 2nd best, wed question why the second best especially when the best fighter has already beaten the 2nd best soundly.

What's "tbu"? I haven't seen the video yet but how am I supposed to interpret it when he literally says "he has to win some big fights first"?

unification are fine, but the champs in that division are solid B fighters...floyd vs marcos was a unification fight, but fans hated it bc we wanted the "best"fight..
titles lie!....but good luck to GGG...but i'll never forget this ducking..its the first thing that comes to mind when i hear his name..but that he has a ppv coming up..or not that he wants to be undisputed...i think duck...

WTF are you talking about? He was never at any point wobbled. He was barely ever touched.
